I moved my friend who has Dementia from an inadequate care home to Kyn Bickley last October because his needs were not being met and his mental health was deteriorating rapidly. When he left this care home he was under 24-hour care and was being sedated for his aggression. Within 3 weeks of arriving at Kyn Bickley, he no longer needed to be on 24 hour care or sedated. I give total credit to all at Kyn Bickley for his transformation. Because of their highly qualified staff, including an Admiral Nurse, I have witnessed him become a different person. He is so happy and content because his needs are all being met. I genuinely believe his life expectancy has increased significantly by being in an environment that is caring, and supportive and where he is understood. I highly recommend Kyn Bickley to anyone who wants to be reassured that their loved ones will get the best care possible.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with KYN BICKLEY. I am pleased to hear that, following your experience of another care home, you now feel that your friend's needs are being met and that he is happy and content in our home. 8 weeks later my mother returned home walking independently with a frame. Her recovery was greatly assisted by the very attentive and encouraging care staff, physio and nurse input and availability of all necessary equipment eg. a wheelchair, pressure mattress, bathroom equipment etc.
As my mother's condition improved, she was encouraged to participate in a wide range of organised activities and these and the weekly hair and nail appointments definitely boosted her morale.
Visiting family and friends was made to feel very welcome and being able to eat together in the beautiful, hotel-standard restaurant was definitely an added bonus.
Kyn Bickley is a very new home and the management was constantly seeking feedback from my mother and us which showed a willingness to provide the best care possible.
We are also pleased to know that...
Each aspect of patient care has been thought out in depth. I urge those seeking nursing care to visit and meet the staff and see for themselves.
Our team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident...
The home is brand new and scrupulously clean and the whole ambience is very friendly and welcoming.
We recognise that moving to a care home can be difficult and wish to make this as smooth a transition as possible. I'm delighted to hear that your mother has settled in well and that you are enjoying lunch together in...
Giving up one's home is an extremely difficult process and KYN Bickley has been amazing in helping us through this difficult process. I have been guided step by step by this amazing team. Despite finding it difficult to give up her home my mother feels safe in the knowledge that this excellent team is on hand when needed so my mum who is 101 can still have that element of autonomy and dignity. What a place! Without exception her visitors tell me how lovely KYN Bickley is, the relaxed atmosphere and my mum and I have something to talk about every day from the phone in her room. If we are not talking about the delicious food, the fact that family and friends can stop by at any time and even enjoy a three-course meal with her in such a lovely dining room is the icing on the cake. My son who visits nursing homes on a regular basis says he has never seen anything like it and it is like a six-star hotel but above all it is the team behind it that makes this place so special.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am thrilled to hear that our team at Kyn Bickley has been able to provide you and your mother with the support and care that you needed during this difficult time. It's wonderful to know that your mother feels safe and has retained...
My parents have been in respite now for nine weeks at KYN Bickley. My parents have thrived during this time and their wellbeing has improved by 100%. The environment and décor is outstanding, the facilities are amazing, i.e. the nail, hair salon, and the incredible daily activities which are carefully planned. The dining room and food is well thought through, with an excellent choice and selection. The service during meal times is impeccable and gives you the feeling you are dining in a five star hotel. The care that has been given to my parents is outstanding, the kindness and professionalism is amazing. All the staff are dedicated to their residents ensuring the time they spend at KYN is perfect and flawless. I want to thank everyone at KYN from the bottom of my heart, you are all so dedicated in providing continuous, outstanding care to your residents .

Outstanding care home with lovely staff, amazing programme of events/entertainment, excellent food and beautiful rooms/gardens. My mother (87) stayed for four weeks following a knee replacement operation and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. The staff were all lovely. The physiotherapist and the nursing staff kept a close eye on my mother's progress and encouraged her in her recovery and at her hospital check up everyone was amazed at her progress and felt this was definitely helped along by the staff at Kyn Bickley. Family and friends were able to visit and we also had a very lovely Sunday lunch there with her in the restaurant. An extensive range of activities is available including a cinema, pianists and singers, visits from therapy dogs, gardening, current affairs and flower arranging. When the time comes for my mother to need support she will absolutely choose Kyn Bickley where she is confident that she will receive the best available care.

I am delighted with the standard of care and attention Mum receives from all staff at Kyn. She had become quite isolated and lonely whilst receiving care in her own home. However, since moving to Kyn she has found a new lease of life; she is now enjoying her time with new friends, joining in many and varied activities and having lots of fun. It is wonderful to see her happy and laughing again. Everyone from staff to residents has helped her settle quickly. The staff are constantly assessing her needs and adapting her care as necessary. She is receiving the best care in a nurturing, relaxed and fun environment.

I really benefited from my stay at Kyn Bickley, the four weeks enabled me to start my recovery from major surgery. The majority of staff are dedicated, caring and hardworking individuals, from the nurses, carers, concierge, several managers, the chef, staff in the beautiful dining room and the lovely therapist etc. All made me feel so welcome and cared for, there wasn't anything that was too much trouble. The whole experience was excellent and will be a happy memory for me. I wish the Kyn team every success for the future.

I am delighted to hear that you had a positive experience with us and that our dedicated and hardworking team made you feel welcome and cared for during your stay. I appreciate your kind words about our team and your recognition...
As I had no one to care for me at home, I needed somewhere to stay after hip replacement surgery. I visited the care home and was impressed by its overall appearance and the services on offer. I was lucky enough to get a choice of en-suite rooms and chose one with direct garden access. Personal care was available which I needed for a few days. Three meals a day are offered to be taken either in your room or the silver service restaurant, I did a mixture of service. The 3-course meals are excellent with a meat, fish or vegetarian main course. Kyn allows you to have guests for lunch or dinner at a reasonable extra payment. Also on offer are a monthly physio appointment and weekly hair and spa treatments. All levels of staff from carers, nurses, hospitality and admin are especially kind, polite and caring. If you want something, ask for it and it is usually provided. I stayed for 3 weeks and would honestly go there again if I needed to. Well done.

My brother's diagnosis requires full time care, so we needed to move him from his former assisted living home. I was fortunate to be recommended to Kyn Bickley and have been totally happy and confident in the care they are giving. I live outside the area, so having a team that will respond immediately to my questions and give me full peace of mind regarding my brother's care is invaluable. Everyone works as a team, irrespective of their defined role. This is important for the total well-being of their guests. The day to day nursing and care is superb, giving me updates daily if necessary. Highly recommend this facility.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Kyn Bickley. We are thrilled to hear that our team was able to provide your brother with the full-time care he needed and that you are fully satisfied with the care we are providing. Our team takes great pride in working together to ensure the...
From my point of view - all communications with Kyn Bickley were excellent. The staff were courteous and efficient. My husband suffers with depression and anxiety, but he settled very quickly and enjoyed his time at Kyn Bickley - especially the cheese and wine party and concert. We hope to use Kyn Bickley again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family. My husband could not have had better care. Thank you.

We are glad that he especially enjoyed the cheese and wine party and the...
I stayed at Kyn Bickley for two weeks convalescence; it was a lovely home. Everything was of the highest standard. My only observation was that although the food was imaginative, delicious and beautifully presented, occasionally us older people just like something simple and more like home than a five star restaurant. Overall a wonderful experience, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Thank you for sharing your experience at Kyn Bickley. We are glad to hear that you found everything at our home to be of the highest standard and that the team was attentive to your needs. We appreciate your feedback regarding the food, and I am pleased to say we have already updated the menu...
On the food front, absolutely excellent and comparable to a five star hotel. However, if staying any length of time we would imagine that a resident might want to feel more 'at home' and that perhaps more 'homely' food (i.e. shepherds pie, liver and bacon etc. would be a welcome change). These could probably be requested, but might perhaps be worth putting this sort of choice on the daily menu now and then?
Activities and facilities were excellent and we are only sorry that our mother chose not to participate. Kyn has only been running for about seven months and it’s a great addition to the choice of care homes in the area. We are sure it is going to be very successful.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your experience at Kyn Bickley. I am delighted that you found our facilities and activities to be excellent. We're sorry to hear that some of the treatments promised were not delivered as expected. We take your feedback seriously and will work...
My daughter and I are delighted with the care KYN has given to my wife. All the staff are very friendly and patient. They have managed to persuade her to allow them to get her washed, to clean her teeth and to change her clothes. She gives every sign of being very happy here.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Kyn Bickley. It's wonderful to hear that you and your daughter are delighted with how our team care for your wife and I hope you can find peace of mind knowing she is being well taken care of.
Enter KYN BICKLEY and your idea of a care home will immediately be transformed. KYN is on par with a five star hotel; beautifully large designer rooms, many with patios and garden access, carers in practical, safari style uniforms and, most importantly, very caring and always ready to assist day or night. Delicious meals in a stunning restaurant and daily activities tailored to one's needs. I believe KYN is the way forward and the outstanding leader in the field of care. All homes should be to KYN's standard.
Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts on Kyn Bickley. It's great to hear that you had such a positive experience and found the home to be on par with a five star hotel. We believe it's important for care homes to provide high quality care and amenities to ensure the comfort and...
Incredibly kind and attentive team at KYN. The environment, rooms, grounds and facilities are the best in class. The team made sure that they really got to know my father-in-law and all his likes, dislikes and interests and have tailored activities and interactions with other guests to ensure he is fully engaged and enjoying the KYN experience to the fullest. We would highly recommend KYN Bickley.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am pleased that your father-in-law is enjoying his time at KYN. The team has enjoyed getting to know him and is delighted at his engagement with the activities and other residents. Thank you for recommending KYN Bickley.
After four weeks in a hospital bed, I arrived at KYN in a sorry state. Unable to perform basic bodily functions without help. All the staff were kind, supportive and caring and were my friends. The food was tempting, meals were presented and encouraged me to eat. Activities helped me to get to know people and socialise. The lovely garden provided a fresh open space for gentle exercise. Decoration throughout is amazing, providing restful rooms. KYN has restored my well-being and has my eternal thanks.
Thank you for sharing your experience at KYN. I'm pleased to hear that our team provided you with the care and support you needed during your stay. We are also glad to know that you enjoyed the meals and activities we offer, as well as the beautiful garden and restful rooms. It brings us great joy...
Variety of entertainment for residents. Food is always presented and tastes fantastic. Overall a luxury care home, and very pleased with how they are treating my grandmother. Thank you.
