The new wallpaper at the home looks fab, really bright so the residents can see where to eat. Which really helps my mum. So a massive well done to all the staff. Also went to see my mum at Easter and the staff put on some lovely food and cake. Well done guys you're doing amazing.

Overall Experience

I am extremely impressed with the standard of care my father receives. All staff are incredibly patient and caring, despite some of the challenging behaviours they encounter. The facilities are always spotless and I feel confident leaving Dad in the staff's capable hands after my visits. He always seems content and comfortable in their company. Thank you to everyone at Marula Lodge.

Thank you for your lovely review. We know the worry it can cause families when loved ones are in care so it's great to hear that you are reassured and impressed with the care that your father receives at Marula Lodge. The team really are experts in their field and they'll be very pleased to hear that that has been recognised by yourself. Thanks again.

Review from Sarah G (Wife of Resident) published on 16 February 2022 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

From the first time I visited Marula Lodge, I knew it was the right place for my husband to be cared in. The staff are professional and compassionate in equal measure. The level of communication and support I have received has been fantastic. The home itself is spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. The standard of care is of the highest quality, from the nurses and carers right down to the reception staff and chef. I wouldn't want my husband to be cared for anywhere else.

How lovely to see somewhere specifically designed for the residents. No carpets and mats to trip over!

The staff are absolutely lovely. I am very impressed so far. Can’t rate activities yet. A room with a door to the garden would get an excellent score too.
