I am happy with way my husband is treated, staff are friendly and make sure he is comfortable but also take the time to talk to him and ensure it is not just the physical needs that are met. He is always clean and so are all the accommodation he lives in. The staff also take time to ask me how I am

I have known South Africa Lodge for some years having visited a naval colleague who was so well cared for during his final years. My current visits are for my godson, now aged 62 who has sadly been poorly almost his whole life. The care given to both of them is exemplary. The whole place buzzes with

The management of this home is extremely good. The care teams work well together. The carers have great patience and kindness dealing with their clients. The home is scrupulously clean, as are the patients. Staffing levels are very good, as is the security of the home. Visitors are treated very courteously.
Nothing seems too much trouble, and relatives are encouraged to make any requests that might, in their opinion, improve the care of the loved one.

It is difficult for me to give a comprehensive review as we live in Spain and cannot visit very often, although we have weekly video conferences. Circumstances have been very difficult these last years and we are very pleased how mum has been treated and we see that she still has a quality of life.
This is mainly due to the great work of all of the employees. We very much appreciate it. I don't see how mum could be in better hands. Thank you very much, it is very appreciated.

The staff and reception are really friendly. Made us coffee, hot chocolate. The lady on Transport was very friendly and was telling us that she takes the residents out and where she takes them. Lovely for them, she had so much patience. The home is really clean, flowers are everywhere. Lovely to walk

Mum has moved lodge a few months ago which she has now settled and got used to the staff. All the staff are very nice which I think has helped mum settle. She likes her new room which is a lot bigger so we spend most visits in her room.

South Africa Lodge is a first class Nursing Home! This is the fourth NH he has been a resident and the first one he has really settled in. The staff are well trained, skilful and caring and have taken the time to understand his needs and wants to help make his stay as enjoyable as possible. The new

My uncle has vascular dementia and has now been at Kitnock for about five months. Unfortunately he can be very rude and unpleasant but the staff are alway very accomodating and friendly toward him. They have great patience, which i admired them for. He looks very healthy and clean and in his happy moments
feels comfortable living there. I also found the care home clean and tidy, which for me is very important. His clothes and his bedroom are always clean and organised by the staff.

Since Mum was transferred to South Africa Lodge I feel much happier that she is getting the care and attention she needs. The staff are always attentive and supportive to my mum despite how difficult she can be. They take very good care of all her needs both day to day and medical.
