Situated near the historic town of Oswestry, Shropshire, the home's rural location offers scenic surroundings as well as transport links to the nearby hospital and central Oswestry.

The home features 69 single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. There are also communal areas for relaxing and socialising, including dining rooms and lounges, kitchenettes for residents to use and a large garden. Always friendly, approachable staff who are welcoming and offer tea or coffee. Mother's needs are met and her demanding ways are dealt with patiently. Sometimes I feel the staffing levels are a little light and it does not give the carers time to carry out all their duties as they would want to.

If there have been any small issues it has been dealt with promptly by staff. All staff are very friendly and very helpful and assist my mum in a professional and very caring manner. Having had experience of other care homes I rate Meadowbrook highly.

When my mother first came into Meadowbrook, we as a family didn't think mum would settle, but how wrong we were. We and mum couldn't be more happier, the staff are very caring and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them, mum likes to take part in all activities and the motivation she has off staff
is great, it's a really lovely place to be in.
