Staff are very hard working and caring but they are continually under pressure because of understaffing. I know there are guidelines and laws to ensure a certain number of carers to match numbers of residents on unit and the level of care needed however these are minimum staffing levels, to run this business properly and decently you need to have more staff on at any one time. Meals need to be better cooked with better ingredients.

Always friendly, approachable staff who are welcoming and offer tea or coffee. Mother's needs are met and her demanding ways are dealt with patiently. Sometimes I feel the staffing levels are a little light and it does not give the carers time to carry out all their duties as they would want to.

If there have been any small issues it has been dealt with promptly by staff. All staff are very friendly and very helpful and assist my mum in a professional and very caring manner. Having had experience of other care homes I rate Meadowbrook highly.

Hi, my name is Tommy and I am the Maintenance Manager at Meadowbrook Care Home. The chance to have contact with the residents and the interaction is so great, when working at Meadowbrook, no day is the same. It is also good to have residents ask me to deal with an issue within their room and have a little chat with them at the same time. I am enjoying working as part of such a diverse team and ensuring the presentation and safety of the home is paramount in my day-to-day responsibilities.
