A lovely and friendly positive team of staff. Good and flexible care that is based on patients' individual needs. A clean environment. They are respectful of patients and welcoming to family visitors. My Dad is calm, clean and comfortable here.

Whilst the standard of care, quite naturally, varies from person to person, I am generally satisfied with the care I am receiving at The Manor. However, the quality of the food could be improved upon to match my personal tastes.

My father was brought here under unusual circumstances. His wife refused to have him home from the hospital after having Covid. He doesn't want to be here and thinks he's going home. Staff understand this and take it day by day with him. Without exception, all I have witnessed is a caring and patient attitude from all the staff. Any concerns or care requirements are attended to shortly after I have raised them, The food smells great! My dad's room always seems clean and tidy. My only concern ongoing is that my dad doesn't get enough exercise to stop his bad knee from getting worse.

My mother was in this home and was neglected, had a broken hip. The senior carer did nothing. Three days hobbling on her broken hip until my sister and I got a doctor. My mum had to have a replacement hip. My mother went to the hospital, then another care home. Unfortunately the same at the new home, it wasn’t as posh so my older sister put her back into Northcare Manor because it looked good.
