Dad moved from the flats attached to Olive Tree Court for end of life care. The care home is immaculate and the staff are brilliant. They are always happy to answer any questions and very accommodating to dietary requests. I visit almost every day and it is lovely to see familiar carers day after day rather than a high turnover of staff. Dad is extremely well cared for, his personal hygiene is excellent and the staff extremely friendly to him. It is a calm , relaxed environment with no-one rushing around. Nothing is too much trouble.

Staff do a very good job looking after mum who is not easy to deal with.

Mum's room is excellent. The home has excellent facilities and the hall providing activities which mum probably cannot really appreciate.

The nurses are very friendly and helpful. They are very professional and are aware of all of my father-in-law's needs and requirements. They encourage him to eat and drink all the appropriate food. They encouraged us to bring his tape-recorders and CD's for him to listen to. They encourage him to go into the lounge when he is capable of this. Overall, they display great care towards his personal hygiene, eating and drinking and I feel confident that they are caring well for him.

I would like to say a big thank you to Olive Tree for letting us use the bar for my dad's 92nd birthday. The buffet food was also amazing, thank you. I would also like to thank the event coordinator; she was brilliant, thank you.
This nursing home has always been there for my dad, and so glad he came here to be looked after.

This care home for my mother-in-law is satisfactory. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I'm not here when it's mealtimes so I don't know how the food is but my mother-in-law doesn't complain.
She has no mobility and is bed-bound.

She tells me she worries someone will come into her room at night, which is a little worrying! I'm not sure that has happened though but sometimes someone wanders in unexpectedly and she has to press her "button" to summon someone to come and remove them. A little bit concerning.

Reply from Helen Jones, CEO at Olive Tree House

HelloFirstly I am shocked to read your Mother in law's concern and have asked our Manager, Vlad to investigate immediately. We clearly want every resident to feel safe day and night. Thank you for telling us of her concern. It may well have been our night staff doing their checks on each...

My husband was made very welcome at Olive Tree House, from the start and despite his Dementia he settled well quite quickly. The nursing and care staff were good, they listened to us and acted on any concerns we had.

When the inevitable happened the end of life care was compassionate towards him and his family.

Most care was very good, just a shame dad fractured him arm when with you.

On leaving they have not given us any information on dad and where he is at now and any changes in him. Plus I just found out that you have permanently taken him off the doctors he has been with. I was told dad doctors would change but only on temporary bases, now dad is without doctors until I get to doctors to get form and fill out, but as I don't know doctors you use will have to sort that out.
