Our aunty arrived at Pigley in June 2019 have been in hospital after numerous falls etc. She was diagnosed with alzheimers and is unable to cope without carers and supervision for medication and meals etc. Initially, after hospital discharge she came for 2 weeks respite then following advice from the hospital, GP and the social mental health team, stating her home was unsuitable for her needs she became a permanent resident. She soon made friends with residents and we've witnessed her dancing and singing at events in the home. It is good that there will be more activities as she needs stimulation and loves going out for walks when taken. Having a chiropodist, hairdresser and optician etc available saves us having to make appointments and take her to them. Staff are friendly and sympathetic and willing to discuss any concerns we have with them and they contact us if there's anything we need to know.
My mother was in Pingley Court Care Home while my father had major surgery and recovery, her stay was extended 3 times because he had to return to surgery and this was never a problem and Pingley Court were very accomodating. Lovely place, would come highly recommended by all my family, although my mother would rather be at home of course, but she did love the place, staff were excellent, really good with residents, the manager introduced themself, very clean and food was excellent. Top marks from us. Thank you for all your care.
We are very pleased with how quickly Dad settled. He is very happy here. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable as are the communal dining room and lounge. Staff are kind and caring with a great sense of humour and work very hard. This home feels safe and secure for those with Alzheimers like Dad. Would recommend.

I have been in a few homes over the years and Pingly Court is 5*.
I was extremely anxious about putting my mum into a care home. The staff at Pingley Court were really understanding and supportive and helped us through the process. I could not be more reassured or happier with the care that she receives. She is treated with kindness and respect and since moving in 6 months ago, she is thriving. The staff and management are brilliant and the service is worth every penny.
The home is very clean, lovely decor and very homely. The management are very helpful, also, the staff are very pleasant and polite. I have been told that the food is good and plentiful, the rooms are nice and spacious. I have not seen any of the activities, but have seen photos of them and the outings.
My mum was only there for 2 weeks as she was really ill with Alzheimer’s and has now passed away.
The staff were amazing. So caring , very professional . I can’t thank them enough for how they treated my mum and us as a family. Wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend Pingley Court. Even the owner was so lovely with us all . Thank you to all the team !!!!
My mum recently had to be placed into this care home after my dad had an accident. Pingley Court has recently opened after an extensive refurbishment and is like a 5-star hotel. The rooms - lounges - dining room all look amazing. My mum has her own room which we have personalized with some of her own possessions. She settled in so easily- all the staff are amazing- nothing is too much for them. So far mum has joined in with most of the activities which are organised on a daily basis. The staff like to keep the residents stimulated. We have noticed that she seems more relaxed and talks more with the other residents and staff. Her appetite has certainly improved with the amazing food she is having. She even has a choice of what to eat - making a decision to my mum is hard, so even this small effort is great to see. For a family to have to put someone they love into a care home is a very hard decision but we all feel that this is the right place for our mum. Amazing place.
It is a family business, that also runs 3 highly rated homes in Scunthorpe and the director we met couldn't have have been more caring, friendly and understanding of our somewhat complicated financial situation. His knowledge and flexibility made our preferred choice possible.
If you want a beautifully, newly refurbished "home", with no expense spared don't delay; I can't imagine there being many spare rooms available for long.
The place is very homely and welcoming and the staff are so caring and patient I have seen a definite improvement in my relative's condition as she suffers from severe anxiety.
