Hairdressing, chiropody, newspapers and other personal items are an additional cost. However, we are conscious of the usual disparity of cost of care of private and Council funded at most care homes. Our solution has been to bring down the cost to private clients and ask families for Council funded clients to assist with care costs which allows is to run a profitable care home whilst maintaining high standards and high staffing levels.
These prices are only a guideline, please contact Red Court Care Community to find out the exact price for your requirements.
If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.

As the General Manager at Red Court, I bring over 10 years of experience in the public and social care sector. I believe in leading by example - staying hands-on, approachable, and committed to creating a calm and supportive environment for everyone in our home.
What matters most to me is making a genuine difference in people’s lives. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, holistic care that places each resident’s well-being at the centre of everything we do. Through a proactive, person-centred approach, I support my team in providing compassionate and empowering care, fostering an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and part of a warm, welcoming community.
I deeply value the relationships I build with residents, their families, and my colleagues. I continually seek ways to enhance our care and contribute to an inclusive community. Together, we can ensure that Red Court remains a place where everyone feels valued and cared for.
Since starting my career with the Red Homes group as a bank care assistant, I have progressed by embracing a variety of diverse roles, including senior carer, unit leader, and deputy manager.
As well as experience, I have achieved level 3 and level 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care – helping me to provide the expert care our residents truly deserve. One of the proudest moments of my career was to oversee a successful Care Quality Commission inspection of our 47-bedded residential home, which resulted in a ‘Good Rating’ of our home.
I always treat our residents with the same level of respect, compassion and care that I would expect for my loved ones, and continue to embody and share these values and ethos with my team.
