Red Court Care Community is a truly wonderful, home-from-home purpose built residential care home, located in the attractive town of Grantham, on the border with Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Red Court Care Community is a quality care home that provides nursing and residential care. With a focus on maintaining personal independence where appropriate, one of the activity areas has a built-in kitchenette.

The home also offers inclusive, purposeful, and exciting lifestyle and activity choices including music, dancing, gardening and crafts. The activities coordinator provides a rich timetable across the week, whilst the chef prepares nutritious meals and snacks, tailored to individual dietary requirements, for residents and staff to enjoy.

Hairdressing, chiropody, newspapers and other personal items are an additional cost. However, we are conscious of the usual disparity of cost of care of private and Council funded at most care homes. Our solution has been to bring down the cost to private clients and ask families for Council funded clients to assist with care costs which allows is to run a profitable care home whilst maintaining high standards and high staffing levels.

Friendly staff, caring in nature putting my mam at ease as she settled into her new home. Good selection of voluntary activities that all can join in with or not, this assists in keeping Mam mentally stimulated.

This is the first time I have been able to visit my mum in the home in 18 months due to living in France and Covid. My mum became a resident during this time. The staff are very helpful, friendly and competent, the facility is spotlessly clean. This has given me lots of comforts as I return to France
that my mum is in great hands. Thank you to all the team.

All the staff were really helpful and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. My father was able to die with dignity in the company of family, at a very difficult time.

My partner has Dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. He cannot stand, walk or do anything for himself and is confused. The staff care for him very well and are cheerful and chatty with him. This includes all the care staff, nurses, cleaning, laundry and admin. I am kept informed of health events
and feel lucky to be able to visit weekly with PPE. The rooms are kept clean, and he likes the food. He is encouraged to socialise and not left alone for long periods.

My mum was only in for just over 2 months and they couldn't have been any more accommodating. The manager, deputy manager and carers have been exceptional and really welcomed my mum. They said we could call and visit at any time, until lockdown. As my mum deteriorated quite quickly they did let us visit
her last 2 weeks. They kept me up to date on her condition and was called as soon after she passed away. Thank you to everyone who cared for her.

Fantastic care and attention given to my husband's needs. He was in care for 11 nights respite care. All members of staff were extremely helpful and caring.

Since Red Court (under new management) took over, we feel a more positive approach. Refurbishment of entrance areas and resident's rooms give a relaxed fresh feel. If anything, the only point to mention is staffing levels at weekends (seems low)

As the General Manager at Red Court, I bring over 10 years of experience in the public and social care sector. I believe in leading by example - staying hands-on, approachable, and committed to creating a calm and supportive environment for everyone in our home.


What matters most to me is making a genuine difference in people’s lives. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, holistic care that places each resident’s well-being at the centre of everything we do. Through a proactive, person-centred approach, I support my team in providing compassionate and empowering care, fostering an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and part of a warm, welcoming community.


I deeply value the relationships I build with residents, their families, and my colleagues. I continually seek ways to enhance our care and contribute to an inclusive community. Together, we can ensure that Red Court remains a place where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Since starting my career with the Red Homes group as a bank care assistant, I have progressed by embracing a variety of diverse roles, including senior carer, unit leader, and deputy manager.


As well as experience, I have achieved level 3 and level 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care – helping me to provide the expert care our residents truly deserve. One of the proudest moments of my career was to oversee a successful Care Quality Commission inspection of our 47-bedded residential home, which resulted in a ‘Good Rating’ of our home.


I always treat our residents with the same level of respect, compassion and care that I would expect for my loved ones, and continue to embody and share these values and ethos with my team.
