The Angela Grace Care Centre is a family-run care home based in the heart of Northampton, offering a range of tailored care packages in a high-quality homely environment.

The home consists of a variety of spacious and cosy rooms and suites laid out over four floors, each with en-suite facilities, television and telephone points, and residents are strongly encouraged to personalise their room with their own furniture.

There is a dining room on each floor where residents can enjoy three delicious home cooked meals daily, as well as snacks in between.

Activities and events can be enjoyed in the designated activities room and residents can take advantage organised trips and outings.

My mother is receiving end-of-life care at The Angela Grace care centre, which I am very satisfied with and which gives me peace of mind between my visits. I know she is receiving the best care and she feels happy and safe and I feel supported too. The staff are professional and friendly and relate
well to residents. The home is well managed and operates in an efficient, covid-secure way, whilst retaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

My wife moved to Angela Grace care centre in late May 2021 from hospital. She had had a major stroke in January and several other conditions have kept back recovery progress. She cannot move herself at all and can only use her left arm, so feeds herself if food is ready chopped. Everything has to be
done by staff and she is wonderfully cared for - washing, moving from bed to armchair, using a hoist, adjusting her comfort position in bed, they do it all, always encouraging her. I'm welcomed every day for three hours, I see it all and am very pleased. Thank you.

I find the Angela Grace care home is a very friendly and caring home. My wife, who is a resident, is well looked after in the environment. It is a clean and welcoming home with professional staff. I feel she is well cared for and communication with me is good. Covid restrictions have been strictly adhered
to and in a professional way. Such as assisting with covid tests, providing PPE etc. There are restrictions but they are there for the well being of the residents and are professionally handled. I would recommend this care home.

Very impressed with the staff at all levels. The manager, receptionist, nurses, care assistants, activity coordinators and chefs are all caring and go above and beyond to deliver the best care possible.

My husband is in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease and came to Angela Grace in July 2020. He has always been treated with dignity and respect and the care he has received has been excellent. The result of that is that he has remained calm. As a family, we also have been supported well with easy
access to management and staff if we have questions or concerns and excellent communication of information. An amazing team.

My mother was in The Angela Grace for ten weeks after a fall at home, unfortunately, due to funding, we had to move her. While she was there, she was looked after by the staff as if she was their own Mother, we could not have been happier. We couldn’t go inside due to Covid restrictions, but we did
have some conservatory visits, she was always happy and kept on saying that the staff look after her very well. I would like to thank all of the staff for keeping us well informed of every aspect of her care and for making her stay with them a safe and happy one and for making our decision to have her cared for an easier one. Would recommend to everyone. Once again, thank you all. I have put satisfactory on the amenities that I cannot comment on having never been inside.

My mother spent two weeks in the care home before going back to her home for a few months, she was then admitted to hospital and then in need of a care home, while the authorities were sorting this out. I never expected for her to be allocated a bed in Angela Grace care home, if I could have picked
one then this would have been the one. She spent almost a year here and was looked after superbly well, the staff were exceptional even in the face of some of her "outbursts", so good luck and thank you very much; you are wonderful people.

Mum spent the last 12 months of her life here at the end of a difficult journey with dementia. The staff were all extremely competent friendly and helpful. They really took a shine to mum and did their best for her. They always keep me informed of developments with mum and notified me of any changes.
Mum was given opportunities to join in activities and received a lot of attention from the staff.

My father was a resident at Angela Grace for about a year. He died this month as he was in late stages of dementia. All the staff and management looked after my father with such professionalism and kindness. We could not have been happier and more grateful to have Dad at Angela Grace if he could not
be at home. The nurses took care of dad beautifully, looking after him and being mindful of his dignity. As a family, we will be forever grateful.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. My wife can be quite difficult at times but nothing phases any of them in dealing with her care. Can't thank them enough. The home is always clean and warm. Food is of excellent quality and suited to my wife's requirements and needs.

Really pleasant environment. All staff greet you with a smile and communicate with you. Carers really do care, are usually very, very patient and work very hard to help residents. Agency workers vary. It is a shame that the carers have so much paperwork to do, but I understand it has to be done. The
activity team arrange many activities to encourage and engage residents who are able. The home is always very clean and welcoming.

I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at The Angela Grace for the wonderful care they took of my mother for the three months she was a resident. The dedicated nurses and carers were extremely attentive and did everything they could to keep her clean, comfortable and happy. My mother enjoyed her time
there, thanks entirely to the care provided by The Angela Grace. Truly the prestige of Northampton care homes. I will be forever grateful that my mother was able to die with dignity in surroundings that she loved.

I feel that anyone staying in the Angela Grace Care Centre would have excellent care and attention. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are very dedicated to the patients in their care. With regard to cleanliness, this is exceptional.

My mother was transferred to the Angela Grace Care Centre from hospital for end of life care in August. As I live in Devon, my visits are infrequent due to distance. The care/support my mother is receiving is second to none. I cannot praise the centre enough for their dedication and care. My mother
is 99 years old and very frail but I and my family can leave without worrying, just knowing she is being well looked after.

The regular staff, on the whole, are very good with particularly helpful carers; some agency staff were difficult and unhelpful. The standard of food was generally good and wholesome, however as a coeliac and diabetic who was there for a few weeks the food was quite monotonous with a lack of fresh vegetables,
despite the kitchen staff being very helpful. When I was discharged I was given a large bag of medicines, no explanation; most of the drugs had multiple boxes of the same drug which caused problems for the carers when I got home.

Edyta qualified as a nurse in 1991 and has since developed her expertise in different hospital settings such as; the surgical ward, pulmonary disease ward, and ICU in Poland.
