My father was moved from another care home in the area as the care and food was not up to standard. Since being at the Chase care home, my father has become a lot more active and his dementia has stabilised.
When visiting my dad, I am always offered lunch as I Make a two hour journey to see him and
have an occasion stayed for lunch which has always been exceptional. The care That my father has been given.is excellent ..

My Dad had terminal cancer when admitted to The Chase as he needed 24 hour care. From the first day we knew we had made the right choice. Every member of staff were caring and compassionate - we were kept informed every step of the way. You not only showed amazing care for my dad but also looked after
the whole family - everyone was made welcome. Although my dad wasn't able to participate in the activities, we especially enjoyed our Easter- making it special for my 20 month old grandaughter.
In the final hours I was even given access to a room next-door to dad, so I could be with him. No words can express how grateful I am.

We moved our dad here from another care home as he wasn't getting the right care or nutrition, he has been at the chase for 8 weeks now and all we can say is WOW,
The staff are amazing they go above and beyond in caring for all the residents .
The food is absolutely incredible, the quality is outstanding
and we his children eat here with him which is something we never did at his last placement..
To see the standard of food served is just outstanding.
Because my dad has dementia we were concerned the affect of the move would have on him, but it's actually the opposite he is so much happier .

My mother recently moved into The Chase as a resident. All the staff , from Reception, management, carers, activity staff, bar staff, cleaners , have been so friendly and welcoming , not only to mum but to myself and other relatives that have visited. Their support has really helped the transition to
residential care.
Their activity programme and enthusiasm of the staff has been fantastic! Mum especially enjoys the flower arranging and bingo, and enjoyed the carpet bowls too!
Mum comments regularly on how delicious the meals are and we also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the private dining room for a special Birthday and were surprised by a beautiful Birthday cake too.
I can highly recommend The Chase and Thankyou to all the Staff for all their kindness and hard work.

It's hard to put into words quite how incredible The Chase is. The facilities are second to none, the activities are amazing and the catering is brilliant. However, what sets the Chase apart from any other setting is the team that work there. Everyone we came into contact with was just phenomenal, so
kind, friendly and caring.
The Chase enhanced so many aspects of my Grandma's life and created the perfect setting for us to spend quality time together as a family.
In difficult times, they offered so much support and care and really felt like an extension to our family. The treated my Grandma with so much dignity and respect and everything was done to ensure she was as comfortable and happy as possible. Nothing was ever too much to ask and our experience with the Chase was truly outstanding. They allowed us to spend invaluable time together as a family and we are so incredibly grateful to every single member of the team.

Incredible genuine loving staff.
The Chase was fantastic to my late grandmother and provided superb support in all ways before she passed.
The staff treat everyone as they wanted to be treated, food is nice, varied and available all the time. Drinks also available 24/7.

There is a reason The Chase has wall to wall 5 star reviews. They are truly exceptional. I agree with every comment that has been written by others. The care of my mother has been consistently superb. She has benefited from the constant attention to her hygiene and diet, medical and social needs. As
a result, she improved from not knowing where she was to being an active member of the community and being able to make her own decision to stay in the Care Home environment. We have not seen her in such good form for years. Additionally, we have felt cared for and it was always a pleasure to visit the Home and be welcomed by smiling faces, offers of drinks and food etc. The team at the Home have been responsible for me changing from believing that going into a Home was the worst thing that could happen to my Mum, to the best. I would also like to extend a personal thanks to one particular member of staff putting hours into helping me through the nightmare of trying to deal with the NHS and the Social Care system.

From the minute we phoned to enquire if The Chase could look after my father-in-law the care, service, food, respect and dignity shown to us all was wonderful. My father-in-law sadly passed away whilst in respite care, from his first day there he was more alert, always clean and tidy and was given the
support he needed to enjoy the last weeks of his life. As a family we were given support, things were explained to us as we needed, we were all fed and watered, given the opportunity to be left in privacy to spend time with him until he passed.
I and all the family are so very grateful to all the staff for their constant communication, support and allowing us that time together. You are all very wonderful people, thank you.

We have been delighted with the team the surroundings and the culture at The Chase care home. Honestly, it is not like any type of care provision I have ever experienced!
When you arrive it's more like a 5-star hotel than a care home - but what goes on behind the scenes, the carers, the catering, the
housekeeping - in fact without exception, every element and every person who is part of this underpins that first impression! I can't think of anywhere that could do a better job of looking after my 91-year-old mother-in-law! Just inspiring!

This care home really is luxury. Everything is of high quality the care is exceptional. If a resident wants something or wants to do something it is provided promptly. My favourite thing about this place though is that the dementia residents are spoken to like people rather than an inconvenience. Having
previously witnessed the difference it's nice to see somewhere that knows how to be around people with dementia. The relationship manager certainly sold this place to my friend and her family but it was nice to see that that relationship is still ongoing when she came to see my friend while I was visiting the other day. My friend lit up when she saw her. And the way she was with her almost made me cry she was so warm. But it isn't just her. All of the staff are so patient and friendly. They treat the residents more like family than work.
It must be noted that not only do they look after the residents but everyone that walks through the door.

The Chase is unlike any care home I've experienced, it seems more like a luxury hotel than a care home. The rooms are smart and the amenities are great. They offer lots of different forms of entertainment as well, along with great food. I'd definitely recommend seeing for yourself how welcoming the

After looking at several care homes to place my mother-in-law in for some much-needed respite, we chose The Chase in Huntingdon as we loved the atmosphere and felt it was the right fit for her. The staff were lovely and when my son dropped in for a surprise visit he mentioned how the staff all greeted
his grandma by name. I would definitely use The Chase again for respite knowing that she would be well cared for and safe.

I required some recuperation after an emergency cancer operation. This suited my needs completely. Very difficult to fault. The surroundings, rooms and facilities were great and all the staff were first class. All were willing to give a great deal of help in every way including making sure visiting
relatives were looked after too. Lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Look no further for a short or long stay.

As I was the only resident I had staff and management only for the first three days to talk with! They made me very welcome and I had the choice of all the ground floor rooms. I chose number 15 as I found it looked out over the more private, quieter back garden and the sunsets! All the rooms were roomy
and attractively furnished, most had a patio with wrought iron table and chairs. Thank you all for the care you gave me. Menu's had lots of choice and meals were delicious! Activities have increased in the later months and very enjoyable too! I'm missing you all but enjoying setting up my home again!

I have worked within the Health and Social Care Sector for over 20 years in various positions from Home Administrator to Regional Head of Business.


I like to further myself & during my career, I have completed multiple NVQs within Business Administration, and Management and finally achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.


I have always had a passion for supporting people to live their best life to the full and my values incorporate those of Connaught Care to ensure that each person is able to live a life more extraordinary.


I can't wait to meet you all when we open the doors to our beautiful new all-inclusive care home.
