My stay at The Chase Care Home was excellent. The staff were extremely caring and very understanding of my particular needs at the time. The accommodation was like living in a five-star hotel and of course, all-inclusive. The food was excellent. They also had a hairdresser and spa where you could have any treatments. The events manager organised entertainment for residents and outings. My stay included Christmas 2023 where residents and their guests were provided with an excellent Christmas dinner and as I say, all-inclusive.
Thank you so much, Kathleen, for such a lovely review and your very kind words. It was our pleasure to have you here with us. I am so glad you were able to enjoy our facilities, we really enjoyed getting to know you and we do hope you will come to visit us soon. Take care and thank you again.
Every member of staff has gone above and beyond, from the carers, physiotherapists, managers, administrators, receptionists, chefs, to name a few. They truly are an exceptional team and a pleasure to know.
Mum has enjoyed her stay and flourished there. She would also highly recommend The Chase.
Thank you so much for such a kind review of The Chase. It was our absolute pleasure to care for Mum and to see how she progressed throughout her time was amazing. We really do wish her all the best in her continued recovery. I will be sure to pass your kind words on to the team here.
The standard of care which I received at The Chase and what I observed apply in the treatment of other residents either stood at or approached excellence. Throughout their duties the genuinely caring and encouraging attitudes of Chase Staff to their patients I found were 'very impressive' and of the very best that ever I have observed. I send further sincere thanks for the treatment I received at The Chase.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, we really enjoyed having you stay with us here at The Chase and we do hope that you will drop in to see us when you can. It was our pleasure to care for you for your respite stay. I will ensure your wonderful comments are passed on to the whole team here at The Chase. Thank you again and take care.
Mum went in for 2 weeks respite care and we all found every aspect of her stay top quality. The staff are so welcoming and jolly, the care is exceptional and efficient and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is always friendly with some form of activity to entertain the residents each day. Mum is happy and relaxed there and has decided to move in permanently. We can’t recommend it enough.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We really love having Mum and yourselves here as part of The Chase family and we are thrilled that Mum has now decided to stay with us permanently! It is our pleasure to look after her!
I can not impress upon you enough how amazing The Chase Care Home is. After 5 very difficult weeks in hospital, my mother arrived at the Chase. From the moment she went through the door, nothing was too much trouble. Her room and ensuite were beautiful. She had a big team looking after her, carers, nurses, etc. The meals were beautiful, and available for the family too. But the most important part of her stay was the incredible level of kindness my mother received. They gave us peace of mind. And her care wasn't just perfunctory they made it fun for her, even encouraging her to have a cheeky drink in the evening! The staff were also very good at keeping us up to date with my mother's health issues. When she realised she didn't have long she decided she wanted to stay there till the end, as a family we agreed it was for the best. I was called as soon it became obvious the end was close, she was never alone, flowers were put out for her and aroma therapy was too. She had the end she wanted.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and feedback. It was our absolute pleasure and privilege to take care of your lovely mother in her last weeks. The team all enjoyed getting to know her and yourselves as a family and I am so glad that you felt you had peace of mind especially when...
My mother went into The Chase in October for a short stay, partly for respite care and also to see how she would take to a permanent move to a care home, given her physical infirmities. I visited several in the area prior to this and The Chase impressed me the most. The building is new and well-designed for its purpose, and furnished with care - it looks fabulous, much more like a really good hotel and not at all clinical. The staff are delightful and really go above and beyond; they are excellent. The general ambiance is calm but there's always something going on. I can also say that her visitors were given a warm welcome (and parking is easy). My mother was very impressed and stayed longer than she had originally intended. She is currently home but has made the decision to move back to The Chase as a permanent resident and will do so later this month. We are all very pleased with her decision and she's looking forward to the move. What more could anyone ask for?
Thank you so much for such a lovely review and feedback of our home. It has filled me with pride. We loved taking care of your mother and we are really looking forward to her coming back as a permanent resident and joining The Chase family again! I will ensure your comments are shared with the whole team - thank you again!
My husband went in for 12 days of respite care. Everything about the Chase was amazing from the staff to the food to the accommodation. He was treated with respect and dignity and was able to do what he wanted when he wanted. A real home-from-home environment.
Thank you so much for your review of The Chase. It was our pleasure to have your husband stay with us and we enjoyed getting to know him during his time with us. I look forward to sharing your kind words with the team. Wishing you both all the best!
My father went into the Chase Care Home for respite for a few weeks. The quality of care is first-class. The carehome is like a 5 star hotel. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble! He came home for two weeks and missed it so much he wanted to go back for a few more weeks.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We love having dad here with us, we will pass on your feedback to the team who I am sure will really appreciate it!
Our aunt moved into the home as soon as it was opened and the difference in her is amazing. She is enjoying the wonderful food and has started to put some much needed weight back on and is also beginning to enjoy all the events and activities available. All the staff are very dedicated and helpful and can’t do enough for her.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted that your aunt is enjoying her time with us at The Chase, I look forward to sharing this with the team.
My mum stayed for some respite care for three weeks. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was outstanding. They really looked after mum so well and we will definitely be booking another stint of respite next year. Thank you to all the staff at The Chase.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review of Mum's stay at The Chase. On behalf of the management and the entire team, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us some feedback. So pleased to hear we will see mum again next year- so take care for now!
Wow! Just Wow! My mother had an absolutely fantastic time during her stay at The Chase, she wanted for nothing. The staff are all resident-focused and dedicated to making The Chase a true Home for all the residents.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad your mum had a great stay at The Chase! I will pass your wonderful feedback on to the team.
The welcome was so warm and friendly and it has continued to be, as my friend liked it so much she decided to stay permanently.
Staff are amazing they have a good relationship with all the residents and are so welcoming to visitors.
The food is also amazing, with a good choice of menus throughout the day and if there is nothing they like, it's never too much trouble to supply what a resident may like.
They have truly become part of the community and it's really a home from home for the residents.
Thank you for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review, I will share your lovely comments with the staff. I am so glad to hear that you always feel welcome as we love seeing you around the home!
Mum came to The Chase for 2 weeks of respite in August. The overall experience was excellent, the facilities are fabulous and the cleanliness is second to none. The care and attention Mum received were given with compassion and empathy and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the activities varied and thoroughly enjoyed by Mum. She loved the social aspect of her stay. I can thoroughly recommend The Chase to anyone who is looking for respite care for a loved one.

A wonderful facility with friendly staff and fantastic amenities, it is really like a 5-star hotel. Dad was very comfortable and well looked after. I would not hesitate to book him in again for further repsite care. The staff are cheerful and welcoming.

We visited our friend and neighbour at The Chase and found him to be happy, healthy, and in good spirits. The home was beautifully furnished and fitted everywhere, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, competent, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for our resident or us, so we enjoyed seeing him and felt that he is in a very good place.
