The staff are amazing they go above and beyond in caring for all the residents .
The food is absolutely incredible, the quality is outstanding and we his children eat here with him which is something we never did at his last placement..
To see the standard of food served is just outstanding.
Because my dad has dementia we were concerned the affect of the move would have on him, but it's actually the opposite he is so much happier .
Thank you all so much for making my dad so happy
Thank you for your wonderful review- we continue to be incredibly proud of the team at The Chase. We are delighted to hear that your dad and the wider family are happy with the decision to move to us. We will most certainly pass your comments onto the Head Chef and her team- they will be thrilled. Thank you
Their activity programme and enthusiasm of the staff has been fantastic! Mum especially enjoys the flower arranging and bingo, and enjoyed the carpet bowls too!
Mum comments regularly on how delicious the meals are and we also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the private dining room for a special Birthday and were surprised by a beautiful Birthday cake too.
I can highly recommend The Chase and Thankyou to all the Staff for all their kindness and hard work.
Thank you for your wonderful review- we continue to be very proud of the team at The Chase- we are delighted that your mother has settled in so well to the home.
Although my brother arrived only a few weeks ago I have seen such a positive change in his outlook to life. I have not known him to be so happy for a very long time. My sincere thanks to all the staff who have contributed to making this move in his life such a positive one.
Thank you so much Penelope for a very kind review of The Chase. It is our pleasure to care for your brother. Moving into care is a big decision so it is lovely to hear that you feel this has been a positive experience for him. Thank you again.
The Chase enhanced so many aspects of my Grandma's life and created the perfect setting for us to spend quality time together as a family.
In difficult times, they offered so much support and care and really felt like an extension to our family. The treated my Grandma with so much dignity and respect and everything was done to ensure she was as comfortable and happy as possible. Nothing was ever too much to ask and our experience with the Chase was truly outstanding. They allowed us to spend invaluable time together as a family and we are so incredibly grateful to every single member of the team.
Thank you so much for such a kind and heartwarming review. Your words mean so much to us as a team and I will share with everyone. We absolutely loved caring for your Grandma, it was our pleasure and privilege to do so as well as get to know you all as a family, bringing so much joy and laughter into our home. Thank you again for your lovely words.
The Chase was fantastic to my late grandmother and provided superb support in all ways before she passed.
The staff treat everyone as they wanted to be treated, food is nice, varied and available all the time. Drinks also available 24/7.
Thank you so much for your lovely words and kind review. It was our genuine pleasure and privilege to look after your Grandma and to get to know you all as a family. I will be sure to share your feedback with the whole team.
There is a reason The Chase has wall to wall 5 star reviews. They are truly exceptional. I agree with every comment that has been written by others. The care of my mother has been consistently superb. She has benefited from the constant attention to her hygiene and diet, medical and social needs. As a result, she improved from not knowing where she was to being an active member of the community and being able to make her own decision to stay in the Care Home environment. We have not seen her in such good form for years. Additionally, we have felt cared for and it was always a pleasure to visit the Home and be welcomed by smiling faces, offers of drinks and food etc. The team at the Home have been responsible for me changing from believing that going into a Home was the worst thing that could happen to my Mum, to the best. I would also like to extend a personal thanks to one particular member of staff putting hours into helping me through the nightmare of trying to deal with the NHS and the Social Care system.
Thank you ever so much for such a lovely and kind review of The Chase. It has been our absolute pleasure to care for Mum and to have met you all as a family and I am so glad that you have had a very positive experience with us. Your kind words mean so much and I will share with the whole team.
I and all the family are so very grateful to all the staff for their constant communication, support and allowing us that time together. You are all very wonderful people, thank you.
Thank you so much Yvonne for your very kind review. It was our genuine pleasure to look after your father-in-law here at The Chase and it was lovely to get to know you all as a family. I will ensure your very kind words are passed onto the rest of the team here at The Chase.
Used as respite care following major surgery. Just what I needed. Rest, time and being well attended to. Now feel able to slowly get back to normal life.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know you and we are very glad that you are feeling well rested now. As we said, you are always welcome at The Chase.
When you arrive it's more like a 5-star hotel than a care home - but what goes on behind the scenes, the carers, the catering, the housekeeping - in fact without exception, every element and every person who is part of this underpins that first impression! I can't think of anywhere that could do a better job of looking after my 91-year-old mother-in-law! Just inspiring!
Thank you so much for an incredibly kind review of The Chase. We really love looking after your Mother in Law and we have enjoyed getting to know you all as a family. We are glad to hear you are happy and satisfied with the care your Mother-in-law is receiving with us. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the rest of the team. Thank you again.
It must be noted that not only do they look after the residents but everyone that walks through the door.
Thank you so much for your very kind review of The Chase. It is our genuine pleasure to care for your friend and we pride ourselves on ensuring our care is also felt by you as the friends and loved ones of our residents. It is always lovely to see you and others from your friendship group in the...
The Chase is unlike any care home I've experienced, it seems more like a luxury hotel than a care home. The rooms are smart and the amenities are great. They offer lots of different forms of entertainment as well, along with great food. I'd definitely recommend seeing for yourself how welcoming the place is, staff included.
Thank you so much R for your kind review of The Chase. We are so glad to hear that you felt welcome with us and enjoyed our home - you are always welcome! Thank you again.
Extremely welcoming and friendly environment. Very positive attitudes. Excellent advice. Great encouragement to join in activities. Always welcomed with coffee etc and willing to show around at all times. All the employees are lovely.
Thank you so much Pauline for such a kind review of The Chase, we really appreciate your feedback and I will ensure this is passed on to the team. Thank you again and all the best to you and your husband.
We visited my mum. She has been at The Chase, Huntingdon for just over a month. We are very happy that she is now settled and surprised how quickly she has made friends and is enjoying the activities at The Chase. The staff are wonderful, kind and friendly. We have seen a huge improvement in Mum's mobility and she is very happy. P.S, the lunch was excellent. Kind regards.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of The Chase. It is our pleasure to have Mum here as part of our family. I will make sure your feedback is passed on to the whole team.
After looking at several care homes to place my mother-in-law in for some much-needed respite, we chose The Chase in Huntingdon as we loved the atmosphere and felt it was the right fit for her. The staff were lovely and when my son dropped in for a surprise visit he mentioned how the staff all greeted his grandma by name. I would definitely use The Chase again for respite knowing that she would be well cared for and safe.
Thank you so much Sharon for your very kind review of The Chase. It was our absolute pleasure to look after your mother-in-Law. We are grateful for your feedback and I will be sure to pass this on to the whole team!
The level of care and service is just outstanding. My mother-in-law has been here a month now and in her words 'What is there not to like!'. We have joined twice for lunch and the food is excellent.
Thank you so much for your kind review of The Chase. I am so pleased to hear that your mother-in-law is happy with her care and the service at The Chase, it is absolutely our pleasure to have her here with us. Thank you for your feedback, it is so appreciated.
I required some recuperation after an emergency cancer operation. This suited my needs completely. Very difficult to fault. The surroundings, rooms and facilities were great and all the staff were first class. All were willing to give a great deal of help in every way including making sure visiting relatives were looked after too. Lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Look no further for a short or long stay.
Thank you so much Judy for your very kind review of The Chase. It was a real pleasure to have you stay with us while you recuperated. We do hope you are doing well in the rest of your recovery. Thank you again.
As I was the only resident I had staff and management only for the first three days to talk with! They made me very welcome and I had the choice of all the ground floor rooms. I chose number 15 as I found it looked out over the more private, quieter back garden and the sunsets! All the rooms were roomy and attractively furnished, most had a patio with wrought iron table and chairs. Thank you all for the care you gave me. Menu's had lots of choice and meals were delicious! Activities have increased in the later months and very enjoyable too! I'm missing you all but enjoying setting up my home again!
Thank you so much Dawn for your feedback and your kind words. It was so wonderful to have you stay with us and for you to be the very first resident at The Chase! It is lovely to read your feedback on the delicious meals and the activities. I am glad you are enjoying setting up your home again! We do miss you here and we are hoping we will see you very soon for a visit!
Carers were absolutely brilliant with us and our father. The best carers we've seen.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We really enjoyed getting to know your father and we really look forward to seeing him again soon! I will ensure your positive feedback is passed to the team. Thank you again.
She requested to stay longer on respite care and then made the decision to become a full-time, permanent resident.
The transition was very easy and moving to the local doctor was very smooth. It is very helpful that the community matron visits weekly and is always contactable by phone if there are any queries.
The home is incredibly inviting, warm and friendly. Staff are on hand with a happy smile to help with anything you may need.
Sadly and unexpectedly, my mum passed away earlier this month. All the staff and the management team were amazing, helping me through a very difficult time. I am still in contact with the home and they continue to check in with me to ensure I am ok and my family are well.
Thank you so much Jill for such a lovely review and your very kind words. It really was our pleasure to look after Mum as well as get to know you and your family. We miss Mum's lovely smile but some very special memories were made. Wishing you all the best and thank you again.
A smart well-appointed care home, giving residents an excellent range of options and services to take advantage of should they wish to participate. The provision of a personal telephone line was a particularly useful facility. The staff are always friendly and attentive.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words. It was our pleasure to take care of your father throughout his stay with us and we do hope he will drop in to see us soon. I will ensure your feedback is passed onto the team.
