Excellent, looked after me so well.

I had not visited The Moor before I was pleasantly surprised at the surroundings on entering. It appears to be a loverly, bright well run home with very tasteful decoration each member of staff I encountered was professional, friendly and approachable. Most importantly, I feel my friend is being very well cared for in a lovely environment with a team of special people around him.

My uncle was admitted to The Moors in August this year having nearly died after a fall. He received excellent nursing care and is now strengthening daily. The staff are responsive to requests, always very polite and are obviously generally happy in their work. There is a palpable family atmosphere in the home. My uncle feels safe and well cared for.

My husband has been a resident here for 3 years, he is happy living here, has a comfortable room and good bathroom. The home is very clean and the staff are caring and friendly. My husband enjoys sitting in the garden which his room overlooks.

My husband has been at The Moors for eight months. He has settled very well into the routines and benefits from the consistency of the care they provide. All the staff are kind, caring and respectful, even when faced with the challenging behaviours that can come with dementia. The food is varied and fresh; he enjoys it and eats well. The home is very clean and well organised with a good range of activities for residents. Everyone working there understands that each resident comes with an entourage. Family members and other visitors (including dogs!) are welcomed with warmth and compassion, and laughter is in plentiful supply. I have found it easy to build mutually respectful, supportive relationships with the staff: they work with us as a family to ensure that my husband is safe and as happy as he can be. The haven they provide is not just for my husband - the whole family benefits - and we are grateful for the work they do.

What a wonderful place for my relative to be a resident at, The Moors Care Centre. I try to visit once a week. To find my sister enjoying the activities which she really enjoys. She is really settled and feeling so much more confident.

Happy with all aspects of care. Staff very helpful and always available. My wife seems happy and content. No problems.

My uncle has now been a permanent resident of The Moors Care Centre for three months and in that time, myself, and other family members, have been so impressed with the level of support and care provided. The most important thing for us all is the wellbeing and happiness of my uncle who has also expressed how much he likes the set up and the care he receives. I find one of the most impressive aspects of the Home is the interaction between all of the staff and my uncle and I have also witnessed this with other residents. The communication between the staff and family members is also very welcome. Please keep up the good work and a big thank you to all of the staff for their efforts, this is very much appreciated.

All the team are so caring and attentive for my mum. Mum is happy and in the best health she can be. Thank you.

The Moors Care Centre exceeded all our expectations since my father was welcomed there in November following a hospital staff. Without exception, the team go above and beyond to provide first-class care within a safe and professional environment. The home is spotlessly clean and there is always a genuinely warm welcome when visiting Dad. The activities are varied and perfectly suited to the residents. My only minor niggles would be the lack of car park spaces but I believe that is under review for improvement. Thanks to everyone for making this a home-from-home for Dad.

Mum moving into the moors has been the best decision we made for her.

After six weeks in nursing care we have seen an amazing improvement in Mum. After major surgery and a lengthy stint in hospital Mum was unrecognizable. The care and attention given by all the staff has allowed Mum to recover to a point way past what we had expected and hoped for. She is well cared for, socialising and treated with dignity. There is always plenty of staff on hand and all are happy to help or answer any questions.

Overall a very good care home.

The staff, without exception, do an amazing job, treating residents and visitors alike, with kindness, care and compassion. The good humour and laughter make daily visiting a joy and we both feel extremely lucky to have such a wonderful place. Thank you to everyone at The Moors for making a difficult situation much easier than it might have been.

Mum has been in The Moors for just over a year now and is really settled. The management is fabulous and the staff work really hard to create a family feel. It's a lovely atmosphere and they genuinely care. It's great to see the activities coordinators working hard with the residents to keep them entertained. Props to the whole team there and keep up the good work.

My overall impression of The Moors Care Centre was the service is excellent in every aspect. Clean, warm, friendly and cosy. The facilities and staff exceeded all my expectations. The Moors Care Centre has provided my mum with a warm, friendly and family home environment where she felt welcome, safe and looked after. She enjoyed the lovely activities that were facilitated by the staff at The Moors Care Centre. The staff are all very special and I cannot express my gratitude enough nor thank them enough for looking after my mum so well.

Cannot complain about any of the care etc, that my cousin has received since being in The Moors.

Unfortunately, my mother had a fall resulting in a fractured femur - everyone in The Moors was wonderful towards her and us as a family. After 31 days in the hospital, she was transferred back to The Moors. The positive change in her within 24 hours f returning to the safety of the home is just wonderful to see. The staff are so unbelievably kind and caring to my mam and us as a family. We are so very grateful.

My mother is a full-time resident at The Moors Care Centre. After a month at the Moors she is delighted with all the staff, they are all so caring and a joy to chat with, nothing is too much bother. The food at The Moors is excellent, residents look forward to meal times. The Moors is very clean and the resident's room is warm and comfortable so you have your privacy if you want. The day rooms are good for making friends and having fun. Overall entertainment for the residents is really good and a good variety of entertainment. All the residents I have met seem really happy at The Moors.

The food provided for residents is always plentiful, well presented and can be dovetailed to an individual's needs. The new activities organiser has reinvented the activity programme well following the pandemic. All in all, my wife and I cannot praise the staff too highly for their help, care and professionalism. We feel my mother-in-law is in a safe place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home unreservedly.
