Mum is well cared for. The home and carers are of a very high standard. They try to encourage her to engage in the activities.

Very caring and compassionate care home - can't fault it.

Since my wife has resided at The Moors she has been extremely well cared for - she has a very nice room and the staff have always been friendly and caring.

Good clean home. Accommodation very good. Activities good, but my Mum did not like to participate. Food good, home cooking. Certain staff were excellent, going beyond their brief to look after my Mum. Mum's end of life care was exceptional.

A Very friendly and welcoming home with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff are really caring and welcoming and the home looks really clean with fantastic hand hygiene. The Bedrooms are very clean and well laid out and look really comfortable.

My Mum has been a resident at The Moors for almost 4 years and before that came for daycare. She has always been very well cared for by dedicated staff who not only support her but support us as a family during our journey with Mums progressing dementia and other health issues. It really pleases me that the whole staff team, everyone whatever their role (eg receptionist, handyman, cleaner, kitchen staff etc) know Mum and chat to her. The care staff are so loving and caring I cannot praise them enough. Being a carer is definitely not an easy job and the team treat my Mum as their own and for that, I will be eternally grateful. Mum enjoys the activities especially the singing, the variety of activities is excellent. The residents, staff and regular visiting relatives are like a family all supporting each other and this really is the ethos of The Moors. Well Done and Thank You to the manager and the Team.

I can't recommend The Moors enough for their exceptional care under very tough and stressful circumstances. Thank you so much to The Moors' team, you even managed to make us smile through our tears.

This is directly attributed to staff shortages/training.

Husband has been here 3 years and during this time he has been treated with care and consideration and understanding and patience. Staff are excellent, rooms are bright and cheerful, everywhere is clean and well maintained and there is a calm and welcoming atmosphere. My aunt was also a resident and her family cannot speak too highly.

My wife has been a 'term going' resident in a number of care homes in the Harrogate area. She is now permanently resident at The Moors. I can say The Moors is superior in every way. The management and staff are caring and highly skilled. I cannot speak too highly of The Moors.
