Twyford House is located in the heart of Alsager, convenient to shops and local services. The A500 and M6 motorway are close by, and the home also has excellent nearby public transport links which are convenient for visiting family and friends.

Upon arrival, residents are supported to develop a personalised care plan using an electronic comprehensive integrated Care Planning system. This not only records information around an individual’s care needs but includes interests, hobbies and dietary preferences also. This system gives everyone involved in residents’ care instant access to care information and preferences from their individual care plan to provide responsive and person-centred care.

Part of the Lovett Care Group, Twyford House offers exceptional Residential, Dementia and respite care to individuals who need extra support to live independent, fulfilled lives. All set within a warm, comfortable and welcoming home from home environment, where comfort, safety, personalised care and fun meet strong community ties in beautiful surroundings.

The 70-bed home is made up of four wings each with its own dining room and lounge. The communal areas include a bistro, craft and activities room, cinema, private dining room, terrace bar, library, quiet lounges and fully equipped hair salon. All the beautifully appointed bedrooms feature a full ensuite wet room, widescreen TV and fridge and ground floor bedrooms have patio doors with access to a secure garden of mature trees and outside seated areas.

Varied, imaginative and meaningful activities are planned by the Activities Coordinator and delivered by the whole team. Activities are chosen based on discussions with residents and their relatives.

A daily menu is prepared by the on-site team who create tasty and nutritious restaurant-style meals from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Since my mum has been at Twyford House, she has improved tremendously in communication, socialising and general mental health. It has given my sister and me the opportunity to enjoy her company again, instead of being like carers for her always shopping, washing etc, so now time to just sit and talk.
We can't thank the team enough for how they look after our Mum and how kind and thoughtful they always are. Thank you for all your help.

I honestly can't recommend this care home enough. Our family went from looking after our grandma full time and very stressed to now thoroughly enjoying going to the care home and spending quality time. I can't thank the home enough for taking care of our grandma and giving her a new lease of life. She's
the happiest I've ever seen her. The staff are amazing.

My sister and brother realised that Mum needed extra care and was not coping very well living by herself.
It was a tough decision but was also the best decision we all made together, including Mum.
Mum was lonely and when we saw Twyford house and met the staff we knew she would enjoy it.
There are
so many activities going on in the company.
The staff are lovely and put the residents at the heart of everything, it must be really hard and frustrating along with the constant worry of covid-19. It is good that we can still have window visits with Mum, and the visiting pod when restrictions are eased.
We can't wait until we can come and have a hug with Mum, and join in with the activities!
Thank you for looking after Mum and for giving her her sparkle back.

I found the staff very professional, helpful and attentive. Their care for my mother has been first class, she is over the moon about Twyford House. Twyfords lounge is lovely, great design and finish, loads of facilities an excellent luxurious care home.

Located just minutes from the Town Centre, but off the main road in a peaceful wooded setting. Welcoming, professional staff always have the time to make you feel welcome and answer questions. Everyone at Twyford House has been courteous and keen to showcase their beautiful building and luxurious facilities.
Although the care home is new, there is a lovely feeling evident within the building. I have limited experience of residential care settings, but I knew from the outset that my Mum, who has dementia, would be expertly attended to by the team here. At the time of writing, the number of residents is small, which is ideal for Mum until settled. My Sister and I wanted to provide Mum with the best possible care, especially as our Dad only recently passed away, and we believe we found it in Twyford House. I would firmly recommend this care home to anyone who would like to rest in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving a personal, luxurious and professional care experience.

With the exception of some unsettling staff changes and uncertainty of the place not being able to remain open due to no residents, the service being given to the sole resident is exceptional. Staff are lovely and kind to Mum. Mum 'has been' an ideal resident until recently and is now putting skills
to the test as she is now a lonely soul and can't understand why she is there alone and there at all, but the staff remain in control, kind and respectful. It would be nice to have more residents to be assured of your success. The place is beautiful and the staff are wonderful.
