Twyford House is located in the heart of Alsager, convenient to shops and local services. The A500 and M6 motorway are close by, and the home also has excellent nearby public transport links which are convenient for visiting family and friends.

Upon arrival, residents are supported to develop a personalised care plan using an electronic comprehensive integrated Care Planning system. This not only records information around an individual’s care needs but includes interests, hobbies and dietary preferences also. This system gives everyone involved in residents’ care instant access to care information and preferences from their individual care plan to provide responsive and person-centred care.

Part of the Lovett Care Group, Twyford House offers exceptional Residential, Dementia and respite care to individuals who need extra support to live independent, fulfilled lives. All set within a warm, comfortable and welcoming home from home environment, where comfort, safety, personalised care and fun meet strong community ties in beautiful surroundings.

The 70-bed home is made up of four wings each with its own dining room and lounge. The communal areas include a bistro, craft and activities room, cinema, private dining room, terrace bar, library, quiet lounges and fully equipped hair salon. All the beautifully appointed bedrooms feature a full ensuite wet room, widescreen TV and fridge and ground floor bedrooms have patio doors with access to a secure garden of mature trees and outside seated areas.

Varied, imaginative and meaningful activities are planned by the Activities Coordinator and delivered by the whole team. Activities are chosen based on discussions with residents and their relatives.

A daily menu is prepared by the on-site team who create tasty and nutritious restaurant-style meals from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

This is the most caring home I ever been to staff are excellent and so caring would highly recommend it to anyone room is excellent and my dad says the food is excellent they can’t do enough for my dad and our family.

The appearance of the home is stunning but what matters more is what is happening behind the gloss in residential homes, this place has a solid depth of care and dedication from staff who you know instantly genuinely care about how they assist your loved ones.
This home keeps residents entertained
and active and proactively assists when issues can be difficult for elderly who can feel loneliness or sadness.
I know my mum is safe and genuinely happy and although she is only staying for a while Twyford House have made a positive effect on her health.

We've been delighted with the care that Dad has received whilst he's been at Twyford House. The team have been fab with Dad encouraging him, prompting him and getting him back on track to come home. Especially one lady and her team who had a great relationship with Dad. It brought us great comfort that
he has been so well looked after. The room he had was lovely and spacious, and the facilities in the home were fabulous. We were always made welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for Dad.

The home is always very welcoming, from the moment you enter, until you leave and nothing is too much trouble. My father has been in since January and the care he has had and still receives, is excellent. The manager who is in charge of Hawthorn is wonderful with all the patients. The activities they
put on keep everyone entertained all day. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Mum had settled in very well. It's a fabulous new building with excellent facilities. The staff are caring and friendly. The activities are very good and help to keep residents socialising and alert. Management are responsive to any questions or concerns.

My dad has been in Twyford House care home for 12 months. He is so happy and cheerful, well looked after by all the staff, the team of staff are well led by the Manager who is approachable and available. The care Dad gets from the carers is lovely to see, and his unit manager's knowledge and understanding
of Dad's medical needs is reassuring. I am kept informed if there are any problems, which puts my mind at rest. Dad has a lovely en-suite bedroom which has been like being at home to him, it was an easy transition for him because of this. When my dad first went into Twyford House from hospital, I was terrified, the front of house staff reassured me and supported me throughout. The services are excellent as are the activities from exercise classes, games, to cinema or just reminiscing.

I would recommend Twyford House 100%. Confident in the fact that your loved one was cared for more than adequately. The whole of the staff are always pleasant and very helpful. The general feel of the home is a "good one". I would choose "Twyford House" every time - five stars and more.

My family cannot thank the team at Twyford House enough for the care they give to my nan. They all go above and beyond. My nan loves living there, and our family has great comfort knowing she is happy, well looked after and cared for. The home itself is beautiful, the food is fantastic and the staff
are the icing on the cake. Nan's days are now filled with lots of socialising and laughter, with both residents and staff. We can't thank the team enough!

My 78-year old Mum has Alzheimer's and my 82-year old Dad was her full-time carer whilst dealing with his own health issues. As a family we reached a crisis point with neither of them eating properly, Mum becoming confused and depressed and Dad having falls. We looked at a few places but Twyford House
Care Home was the only one that felt right when we walked in. It was like walking into a hotel. Twyford House Care Home has been very accommodating, allowing my parents to have one room as a bedroom and one as a sitting room, which was very important to Mum and Dad. All the staff are friendly, professional and skilled in their job, the food is excellent and I have watched my parents return to me from a fog of ill health and confusion. They are both so much happier and brighter. Meanwhile, I can relax knowing they are in safe hands and being well cared for.

I cannot praise Twyford House enough. My mum came in very suddenly and she immediately felt at home and welcomed. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. I never feel anything other than welcomed at all times. They are very easy to talk to and very caring. Mum enjoys the food which
is varied and also the activities, especially the walking club, exercises arts and crafts also. She has also enjoyed trips out on the bus more recently, visiting local places she remembers.

My stay here is amazing. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. I feel safe and secure in every way. The food is good and I have an excellent choice to choose from. I would give here 100 out of 100. Highly recommend.

I required Residential Care for my husband at a very difficult time (due to Covid) the staff at Twyford House couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. Initially, it was for Respite Care but because of my husband's condition and the fact that he settled in really well, it was decided he would
stay. He is content and happy where he is and I know that he is safe. All the staff at Twyford House from the Reception, Management, Nursing and all involved in the running of the home are caring, friendly and couldn't be more helpful in a difficult time for families.
