On visiting Upton Manor Care Home for the first time, we felt the home had a fresh, modern clean welcoming environment. From reception staff to all team members and managers all were professional, friendly and helpful. All enquiries were responded to in a timely manner. We felt our mothers caring needs could and were met and she settled into respite care. She enjoyed the events, varied menu and talking to other residents in this welcoming and secure home.
It's a real pleasure to read this, and to know your first impressions of Upton Manor were of a bright, welcoming home where the whole team - from reception through to our managers - made you feel looked after. We're so glad your mother settled happily into her respite stay and found her days here...
I visited the home today, safe to say I was very impressed, the home was very welcoming, staff friendly and helpful, I saw a couple of instances of the staff with the residents and I felt very touched by how they were treated and looked after. Would highly recommend.
It is especially lovely to hear that you noticed how our team interacts with the residents. We take great pride in creating a caring, respectful, and friendly environment,...
On visiting my friend Margaret, I have found the staff very polite and friendly, also the care home is very clean. Nice to see you have security on doors. I had a lunch one day, it was presented very nice and enjoyed the company of the other ladies.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with how the staff are towards your friend, how the home is presented and that you have enjoyed a meal and company of our residents.
The care team are professional, patient, and knowledgeable, and they take the time to understand each individual as a person rather than just a resident. Communication with family members is clear and reassuring, which makes a huge difference and provides real peace of mind.
The home itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a warm and homely atmosphere. Activities are thoughtfully planned to keep residents engaged, active, and happy, and the meals are nutritious, well presented, and enjoyed by the residents.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the care, kindness, and dedication they show every day. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and caring.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind words. We are delighted to hear that you have had such a positive experience with our home. Our team work incredibly hard to provide compassionate, person-centred care, so your feedback truly means a lot to us.
From her first day, mura has repeatedly said how happy and at home she feels at Upton Manor Care Home. The staff act in a professional manner whilst being, without exception, kind and caring. There is a happy, secure atmosphere which encourages residents to be independent & try different activities. The home has a welcoming atmosphere and is kept clean & fresh. Mum really enjoys the food and there are always snacks & drinks available. The new management make themselves available to discuss any enquiries and are usually visible around the home.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that mum is happy living here and feels at home. We really appreciate your comments on how professional kind and caring our staff are and we will pass these kind words onto them.
Good improvement needed. New staff keen to help/please. All staff happier.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review for us. We are happy to hear that you feel the staff are all happy to help you and that they are all much happier as well.
All the staff there went above and beyond to provide kind, compassionate and considerate care, making her final weeks comfortable in a supportive home environment.
We, as a family, cannot thank the staff enough. From 'homemakers' to reception, nurses to management, everyone there helped to ease our worries during a difficult time. We were made to feel welcome during every visit, and can honestly say that Mum was cared for by people with a genuine passion for what they did. Nothing was too much trouble.
We would highly recommend Upton Manor to anyone needing reassuring and empathetic care in a warm, comfortable environment.
Thank you for all that you do.

We are truly honoured that your mum called Upton Manor her home, and we're so glad our team could support her and your family during such a difficult time. Your appreciation means the world to our homemakers, nurses, reception, and management team, and it's wonderful to know their compassion and dedication made a difference.
Mum has been at Upton Manor for 2 years now. Mum, myself and my brother have all been treated with a great deal of kindness and understanding. The current manager has really gone out of his way to support Mum when she has become anxious and has been a real lifeline to us most especially as we do not live locally. The manager and the staff clearly put the residents needs at the heart of all they do for which we are extremely grateful.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to the whole team to know that your mum, and your family, have felt so well supported and cared for. We are truly grateful for your trust and feedback.
We as family were always made welcome and looked after, it was a pleasure to pop in.
The staff cared for mum so well, they had a genuine interest in looking after her, they weren't just doing their jobs.
Thank you and all the best to you all.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to the whole team to know that your mum was so well cared for and that you felt welcomed and supported as a family. We are grateful for your trust and wish you all the very best.
I am very happy with the care at Upton Manor. I chose this care home as I had heard about it through friends that have used it for their loved ones. I put my parents in Upton Manor for four weeks rest bite care with the idea of them staying for good. Unfortunately my father passed away after just six weeks there. However the staff were very attentive and looked after my Mum and myself during this difficult time. Mum has settled into a new lifestyle at Upton Manor and she is happy in her new home.
Thank you for lovely review which really means a lot to all of the staff. We are all so very fond of your mum, and she has made many friends here, everyone knows her, she is just delightful. It was our privilege to have been able to have cared for your dear dad , and we have very fond memories of him. Best wishes from us all and we hope to see you again soon.
Dad moved here from another local care home in February and has been welcomed by all the staff at Upton Manor and the care provided is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Upton Manor. The staff have a very professional approach to care and Dad has settled in well.

Thank you for your five star review, we are delighted to hear home much you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
My elderly loved one recently came to Upton Manor for respite and even though she was nervous (as never left home in 85 years) the staff could not have been better. The management were excellent and accommodating every request from my loved one and from all the family visits. From the room and accommodation to the welcome, to all the support and kindness we experienced during our 5 weeks, we couldn't be happier. A 5 star experience.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write you wonderful review. It was our pleasure to be able to look after your loved one and to have you and your family visit. Your kind words mean an awful lot to all of our staff who work so hard to ensure our residents are cared for and feel at home.Best wishes from us all.
From the moment we stepped through the doors at Upton Manor we were treated with the utmost dignity and understanding of our situation, which made the transition from one home to another so much easier than we ever imagined. In a very short time Dad was like a completely different person and so much more relaxed and happy than he'd been in a long while, giving us as a family real peace of mind about the decision to move him.
All of the staff, nursing, carers, caterers, cleaners and management team have provided excellent care and treatment and helped dad to settle quickly and feel at home. We have seen a dramatic improvement in both his physical health and his general well being in the first 3 months of him moving in.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Upton Manor to others.

The home is always clean, warm, and full of laughter, and we know the staff are always a phone call away if we ever need an update or have a concern.
One of the things that truly sets Upton apart is the incredible range of activities they offer
There's always something happening. The activity person is outstanding she really does go out of the way and I know my very dear friend is truly happy and loves everything that happens a huge credit to the home. To have these teams in home they make all the difference.
She really is happy and Upton is how you want a care home to be.

A safe comfortable environment for Mum following a stroke and dementia, caring team who look after her well with dignity. She is happy and stimulated with activities. The home is well kept and a happy environment. Nothing is too much trouble and the catering is hotel standard! It is great that they are dog-friendly as she can still see her dog on visits.
