Woodland Manor Care Home

I would like to thank the whole team at Woodland Manor Care Home for the care my mother has received. My mother is now well on the road to recovery after a fall in another care home. When my mother arrived at the home, she was unable to walk or feed herself and now through the dedication of the wonderful management and staff, my mother is able to walk again and enjoy everyday life at the home. I would like to thank everyone for the kindness and support shown to me through a difficult time.

Very short stay by my mother unfortunately but she was very well looked after. Staff were kind and considerate and made her comfortable in her last days.

Management is very competent and the carers and all the staff;from the kitchen staff to the maintenance man, to the housekeeper are all wonderful. There is a passion for service and real kindness. We are thrilled with Woodland Manor in every single way.

My dear friend was fortunate in being transferred from hospital to Woodland Manor for a three week period of rehabilitation. Unfortunately her general health deteriorated and made it impractical to return, so she decided to stay on. She said she was so lucky to have such a lovely room. The staff made her feel like she was on holiday in a 5* hotel. The beautifully tended gardens were a welcome distraction from any personal discomfort. Her carers treated her with kindness dignity and thoughtfulness with light hearted chatter and jokes to cheer her. It is not an easy job being a carer but they have made light of every difficult situation. Nothing was too much trouble in the same situation Woodland Manor is where I would go.

It's a marvelous place and I've really enjoyed being here. The staff have been so helpful.

My sister stayed at this care home for approximately two months, under an arrangement with Wexham Park Hospital NHS. During this stay my sister received an exceptionally high standard of care, from all members of staff. All aspects of her care were outstanding and the management has created a friendly and caring atmosphere. Very efficient and knowledgeable staff working together as a team.

I was made very welcome on my arrival at Woodland Manor being only the second resident to arrive. In the three months I have been here I have found the majority of the staff friendly and helpful. My caring needs have been dealt with satisfactorily although sometimes a little rushed. I am very happy with my room and look forward to my visits from my friends and their dogs. The food is of a good standard and the service is very good, long may it continue.

I came in for respite a couple of months ago to see if I felt I could live here as I was not coping very well at home. The answer was yes, so arrangements were set up and then on Good Friday had I had three seizures so it was a blessing I was coming in here for 24/7 care. Food is exceptional. The only problem is lack of telephone availability.

My wife was looked after very well. Indeed the standard of facilities are very good and the food was prepared to her satisfaction, all the staff and management were very attentive. The only suggestion I would make is that there could be more attention given to physiotherapy.

My mother was here for 3 weeks on a re-enablement scheme following 8 weeks in hospital. The staff were fantastic and helped to restore her confidence in walking again with a frame. The food and facilities are excellent and my mother commented that she was made to feel 'like a princess'. An excellent care home where I am certain the long term residents will be very well looked after.

The overall atmosphere is relaxing, and a very pleasant place to visit, especially as we are visiting someone we love and care about. Knowing they are being looked after in this way is very reassuring and helps us a great deal to focus on her. Thank you.

My husband stay in Woodlands Manor nursing home has been stress free and comfortable. He has received lots of attention, had a clean and beautifully appointed room with en-suite bathroom to fit all his needs. Whenever I visited with my family we were warmly welcomed by the staff who were all helpful and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As a family we would highly recommend Woodlands to anyone.

Delightful place to be if you had to be in a home. If I needed a permanant placement I would not hesitate to choose Woodland Manor.

My husband was well cared for in his two week stay to convalesce. This care home is beautifully designed and decorated in lovely colours with excellent lounges. The dining areas are really nice although the food is lacking in choice maybe because the home is so new that it is not full yet, apart from the food we found Woodland Manor faultless.

My client and I have been so pleased with the caring, personal help that he has received from all the staff without exception. As you walk into the home you can feel the warmth of the welcome which is reflected in all the staff, from top of the tree to the bottom. My client has been happy and contented in the home from day 1.
