I am here happy, staff are excellent.

Our father has been living at Woodland Manor with dementia for 3 months now. It is never an easy move but one thing helps us all: knowing he is in the right place. The architecture, the people, the trust he is being taken care of now & as his illness continues. The team is obviously committed & caring & makes us all feel welcomed. I would perhaps only wish them to share more of their expertise on what to expect next, ways to help Dad when we visit but perhaps every patient is different & we need to find our own way ...

I would highly recommend this care home.

My mother was a resident in Woodlands Manor for five years. She was on the dementia unit. We cannot fault the care my mother received during these last years of her life. The staff were professional, very well trained, and exceptionally kind. The fact that many members of staff have worked at the care home for many years speaks volumes about the working environment. My mother was happy and settled in a supportive, caring environment. which is all a family needs. We cannot fault Woodlands Manor.

My grandma moved into Woodland a few months ago and it has been so lovely. It's a big change moving her into the dementia ward, but all the staff are so wonderful, considerate, helpful and spread lots of joy! The food is fantastic and they have lots of good activities and opportunities for the wider community to be involved. It's a clean and beautiful site with a great garden for a cup of tea and a cake. They have been fabulous and their support has been very appreciated.

On Sunday, however, they held a bbq afternoon which was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and the food served was excellent. They went to a lot of trouble to make sure all tastes were catered for. Later, they had some dancers who were fabulous. It was an amazing afternoon and all the residents had a lovely time and were very well looked after. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for an excellent place to care for their loved ones.

Our father moved to Woodland Manor only 2 months ago. We experienced a wonderful living environment and were struck at first by the beautiful, well-thought-out architecture. Then we experienced your wonderful care team: Carmen, Roxie and the team who genuinely cared about Dad's experience of settling in. We are relieved and happy with the new set-up. The only feedback for improvement we have is for the food, very stodgy, not very healthy-looking or tasty to our palate. Also Dad complains of unsettling noise (food trolleys, scraping chairs, room doors) which would be easy to sort out to cater for sensitive ears. Many thanks to everyone in your organisation.

Verry happy that this is mums home. The staff are so kind and mum genunely likes them and the other residents living in her part of the home. She enjoys the activites and Mags and Barbara are fantastic. Thank you!

my mother has only been here for 2 weeks, but honestly it has been amazing. She came in not looking herself and now looks 100% better Staff are lovely, and carmen has been so supportive.

My grandma was with Woodlands for her final 2.5 years. During those years, she was treated with such respect and dignity as was the family. Having previously been at a setting where we were checking on her daily it was a relief to have found somewhere we could trust and call her home. My grandma had advanced dementia but was treated no differently to anyone else and was inc on all outings and activities, when the time came they helped me to prepare and were so kind to me and my grandma, unfortunately my parents were away so the woodlands staff made sure I was not alone, I can't thank them enough for the support they gave us- Navigating through a dementia journey is exceptionally challenging but Woodlands were there to support us.

I came to visit my mum this afternoon, and she was sitting in her favourite place on the first floor balcony with a huge grin on her face. She had been listening to some music being played in the garden below, for BBQ afternoon. She said it was really lovely. My mum has dementia and is very challenging most of the time. It was lovely to find her so relaxed and really enjoying herself. As I missed the BBQ, Sabina very kindly got me some wraps and cake. Not only is my mum looked after really well, but so am I! It makes all the difference. The staff are always there to help and to listen, which is such a huge help. I don't feel alone.

Easy to settle in to a new way of life. Like living in a small hotel.

Caring friendly home with professional staff.

So far so very good. Margery came here 8 days ago and we didn't know what to expect.Carmen steered us through with skills and compassion. We have been impressed with all the cares and how they have drawn Margery into the "family". Ask me again in a months time.

Father came in initially on respite and subsequently chose to stay. Staff and care is excellent with fantastic patience with my father. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much. We chose this home having had my mother here previously and would recommend going forward.

I live at Woodland Manor for over two years. the care is great and I am very happy here.

With huge help from management we were able to transfer our mother to Woodland Manor from Hospital after a months long stay. The staff welcomed here and she settled into a beautifully appointed room. Nothing is too much trouble and our mother has 24.7 care which is exemplary.

We placed my mother in law in the care of Woodland Manor after she fell ill before Christmas and taken to hospital. From the very first day my mother in law has been looked after with so much care empathy and dedication from absolutely everyone in the care home . Special thanks to Carmen and Cristian who helped so much in getting the placement at Woodksnd Manor and not forgetting the brilliant nurses on the Buckingham wing who are taking daily care of our mother in law especially Shannon and her colleagues. Woodland Manor has given us the family the respite we so greatly needed. We cannot recommend this care home highly enough
