Woodland Manor is situated in the charming village of Chalfont St Peter, set in beautifully landscaped gardens where residents can enjoy plenty of outdoor space. Providing expert residential, dementia, nursing and respite care 24 hours a day, the home supports individuals with wide-ranging needs.

There is an excellent choice of activities to keep mind and body active courtesy of a dedicated activities and wellbeing team, and a minibus ensures residents can enjoy regular trips and outings.

Following mum's unfortunate experience in a non-nursing care home, her move to Woodland Manor was managed very professionally with the minimum of delay and upheaval at what is a very busy time of the year. My mother moved into Woodland Manor after a hospital stay resulting from a fall. Prior to that, she’d been at home with her husband and live-in carers. However, her Alzheimer's and mobility problems after the fall meant that she needed more care and physical support than one carer could provide.
Being
a sociable person, my mother enjoyed interactions with the other residents and the activities and entertainment arranged for each day. Family were always welcomed to visit at any time and it was good to be able to sit with her in the “bistro”, for coffee, cakes and a chat. We found the staff at Woodland Manor to be very professional and caring. Alzheimer's finally beat Mum just before Christmas and the care home staff went out of their way to keep her comfortable, support us all and give us space at the end. I’m very grateful for all their care.

My wife and I had no knowledge of care homes and provisions. After a recent fall, my wife (92 years old) has been admitted to this care home. We are amazed at the care and all facilities especially the caring staff at all levels. Thank you.

Dad became a resident in February 2023 and since then the management and staff have been very kind and supportive of our family. I cannot thank everyone enough for giving my brother and me peace of mind knowing that Dad is content, safe and taken care of.

Woodland Manor Care Home is exceptional. They look after my grandparents with so much thought and care that I can relax. My husband had respite care for one month and although would have preferred to be at home was pleasantly surprised at how well he was cared for. He was well cared for and enjoyed the company of the staff who were very caring and kind.

I would like you to be aware that the care home were unable to call me when my Dad was dying because I have a French mobile phone number.
I am bitterly disappointed that I was not called as I wanted to sit with my Dad during his last few hours.
Perhaps you will review and change your protocol regarding
calling international phone numbers and family.

A first-class care home. My father moved into Woodland Manor in August 22, before doing so, he viewed a number of care homes, but his first choice was always Woodland Manor. He made the perfect choice; from the day he moved in he was truly happy and once described Woodland Manor as ‘my heaven’.
The
quality of care provided to Dad was of the highest standard, he enjoyed his very comfortable room, the meals, the in-house activities and films, relaxing in the garden as well as several trips out to local places of interest. Importantly, we always felt he was safe. The staff at Woodland provided my Dad with the individual care and attention he needed. This included the manager, the admin team, the activities coordinators, the maintenance and cleaning teams as well of course as the very dedicated nurses and carers.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Woodland Manor - my family and I all say that if we ever needed a care home ourselves, then we would want one like Woodland Manor.

I am constantly impressed with every aspect of my mum's care at Woodland Manor. Mum is well cared for, well fed and happy. All the staff are very professional, caring and kind. It's a delight to go there and see the activities that are organised to engage with the residents - Thank you all.

The carers and nursing staff treat my parent with dignity and kindness. They are meticulous about hygiene and cleanliness. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly towards both residents and visitors. As with all care homes, the retention of staff has proved difficult but this has not affected the overall

I had a very nasty fall, with two black eyes and an ankle I couldn't walk with (very swollen). I live on my own at 88 so I was most grateful to stay at your lovely care home. Our experience of Woodland Manor is very positive. My father tells me he is very happy there and that is the best accolade. The food is excellent and the quality of care is high. I feel included in his care plan which we feel meets his needs very well. The staff are caring and friendly and the communications

I am a highly motivated and compassionate individual with over 9 years of experience in the healthcare sector. I have dedicated my career to enhancing the quality of life of residents in my care and ensuring the smooth operation of the care facilities I manage. My expertise lies in managing day-to-day operations, leading a diverse team and implementing best practices to provide exceptional care and support for our residents and their loved ones.


In 2014 I began working as a healthcare assistant whilst waiting for my nursing registration, and I advanced through various roles within the company, demonstrating consistent dedication and acquiring new skills at each level.


By utilising my own experience, qualifications and personal dedication, I aim to ensure that every resident living at Woodland Manor receives the highest standard of care and enjoys living in a safe, supportive and enriching environment.
