My mother attends twice a week and she enjoys her time there. She speaks about the staff being really friendly.
Happy that my mother gets a bath while visiting Bankview Day Care Centre as she can't use the shower at home because it is upstairs. She always comes home in a happy mood.
The staff are very caring, I feel welcome and enjoy going to meet people.
I take part in all activities which has helped my confidence.
The quality and variety of the meals are of a high standard and I always enjoy them.
The activities keep my mind active.
Allows him some stimulation, mixing with others and bit of banter with the staff.
Well looked after whilst there.
My dad has been treated with respect from the moment he became a resident. All care staff and nurses have been great in caring for my dad's needs. Nothing is ever a problem. The manager and office staff are very approachable and always eager to help. I'm glad to have chosen Bankview.
The carers we have been associated with have been excellent in every way.
I find the staff not only helpful but extremely considerate and well aware of my wife's needs. This obviously gives me great peace of mind and respite.
Dear John, thank you for your kind words about Bankview Day Care, we are pleased to hear that the service is meeting your expectations.
I consider that overall standards are high and that staff and management do a good job with regard to care and support for service users with a variety of health conditions.
Transport to and from the centre is provided, facilities are well maintained and occasional outings are arranged.
Prompting is required when serving food eg bread should be offered with soup and (side) salads with snacks.
A minor personal annoyance is the automatic provision of recorded music.
My mum attends daycare Monday - Friday, she is always welcomed and always states she had enjoyed her time there.
Dear Jacqui, Thanks for your kind words about Bankview Daycare.
My mum loves her weekly visits to Bankview. She is so well looked after, she enjoys her keep fit classes, quizzes, crafts and most of all, chats with the staff and residents. They always give her exactly what she wants for lunch and she enjoys her tea and toast on arrival and numerous other cups in between. She says that she is cherished at Bankview.
Dear A W, thank you for your lovely comments, we are glad your mum enjoys spending time at Bankview Day Care.
My husband gets up in the mornings, he looks forward to attending.
The centre is well organised and clean and every member of staff is helpful and goes out of their way to provide care for my husband. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this.
Dear A S, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.
The staff are all very friendly and caring. The meals are all fresh and really good value and there are always activities with other service users and staff. There are also outings occasionally to places of interest or for lunch etc. I really like going to Bankview and spending time with people my own age group and my family don't worry whilst I am there because they know I'm well looked after.
Dear Michael, thank you for your kind words, we are glad to hear that you enjoy spending time at Bankview Daycare.
I have attended this day care for the past 3 and a half years. I go 3 days a week and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are excellent, they will do anything to help you without making you feel awkward. The centre is always very clean and has separate rooms for different activities, food is fresh everyday and there is a good choice provided by a chef. I am very happy to attend Bankview and look forward to my 3 days at this professionally run centre.

For myself I have peace of mind knowing I am leaving him with the manager and her kind and very caring staff, who treat him with respect and nothing is a problem for them. We look on them all now as friends.
Thanks Nancy for your kind words.
1) Transport to Bankview is poor. Temperature in bus is very low. Often at Bankview, both doors are left open.
2) Do we have to be seated 25 minutes before lunch is served?
Thank you for your comments Simon.
The bus transport is provided free of charge and we have offered you the option of taking a taxi, which you have declined.Blankets are provided on the bus and have been offered to you to use.
Lunch is normally served within 15 minutes of our service users...
The place is beautifully decorated. Meals, there is a wide variety nutritious great value and lovely presented. The support/carers are fantastic kind and you can confide in them at any time. Spotless in every way. Gentle exercises every morning, then quizzes, board games, crafts and plenty of activities and our choice what we want to do. Personal care discreetly carried out to perfection. Special treats, i.e parties, entertainment, sing songs and local artists visit. Hairdressers, manicures, pamper sessions. The best day care in the district. I tell everybody to come and see for yourself. Side rooms are available if you want to chill out in the peace and quiet. Bon Marche and studio club agents show us goods to buy.
Thanks Margaret for your kind words.
My wife is well looked after at the care centre, carers are very good at their job and also very nice people. I find that they are open and helpful and would go our of their way to oblige. Meals are very good quality and fulfilling to a high standard.
Thanks Drew for your kind words.
As a day care patient I am delighted with the service provided.
Thank you William for your kind words.
