On arrival to Nowton Court after a hip replacement, I was welcomed by 2 members of staff and taken to my room. My room was much more than adequate, it had a huge garden facing window (south) with sun most of the day and was much larger than I anticipated. The room was so well equipped for my needs -
rise/fall bed and chair, a shower seat and toilet riser.
My overall impression was 5 star. The staff could not do enough for me.
I am eternally grateful.

I stayed here for postoperative care after a hip replacement. It was perfect. I could choose the level of care I needed but I knew someone was on call if necessary.
Being independent, I liked to recover in my own time and Nowton Court allowed me to do this whilst always being there as a "safety net".
Lovely building excellent facilities, beautiful grounds and I felt safe and nurtured and it certainly aided my recovery. I would highly recommend as a place to heal. Lovely people.

The welcome, food, cleaning, laundry, service regarding wi-fi, etc, the concierges, the night attendants - everyone in other words - have been kind, attentive, ready to fix or adjust whatever needed doing to my needs. Excellent decision after knee surgery to recover here!!

A beautifully appointed country house with well decorated public rooms and excellent service by charming people.
A bit lacking in residential presence and activity. Most residents seem to keep to their comfortable rooms. An excellent full library.

My mother came to Nowton when her ability to live independently became difficult. Nowton Court was a perfect step from home to assisted living. Everyone at N Court welcomed her warmly and looked after her needs with dignity, compassion as well as good humour. N Court operates very efficiently and professionally,
but no-one ever forgets it is the resident's home from home.

Came following serious illness in hospital. Found all staff very kind, helpful and willing to put themselves out for my Mother. We moved to a nursing home as my Mother needed nursing rather than care but have no qualms about recommending this lovely place to anyone who needs cossetting. Thanks a million
to you all.

My mother was in desperate need of respite. She is in her 80's now and has been a full-time carer for 18 years. She was nervous about being a strange place but the staff were fantastic. The house is fabulous and my mum's room comfortable and cosy. My mother particularly recommended to food, in fact,
she returned to Nowton Court Village for a second visit!

The house is incredibly peaceful and I would highly recommend for rest and recuperation. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my mother.

My mother was an elderly resident at Nowton Court during the last 5 years of her life. This provided her with the privacy she had been used to in her own home; yet always someone on hand to talk to her at anytime during night or day. She enjoyed her chauffeur-driven trips into town; overseen by a caring
Concierge. The staff were very responsive, supportive, kind and helpful.
My mother was a watercolour artist from Scotland, and she was able to continue with her enjoyment of this, using the wonderful library area. She loved the peace and quiet of a comfortable corner, all to herself, in one of the many splendid sitting rooms. The surrounding park & gardens gave her much pleasure, as did keeping the bird tables well supplied!
The home cooking was of a high standard and Chef catered for her individual needs. After her funeral, we held her celebration of life at Nowton Court, with excellent organisation from the management. It was so successful, that we hope to hold a private event there.

I have been so impressed with the care my father has received and is receiving at Nowton Court Village. He is improving daily. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff really do care and look out for their residents.
I would love to stay here myself.

I came to Nowton Court Village from hospital having had a triple by-pass. I stayed for two weeks as I needed complete rest and care. I am over 80 and live alone. The care here is excellent and I cannot fault anything. They even called the paramedics when my leg started bleeding and I had excellent attention.
It is an extremely good place to receive help when needed.

I was admitted following a serious fall at home.
I called the ambulance and was examined by two excellent paramedics.
My rib cage was damaged which caused a great deal of pain and difficulty breathing.
My daughter insisted that I come here for a complete rest as I am 87 years old tomorrow. I have
been caring for my husband for the last three years before he was admitted to the care home in September.
The staff at Nowton Court have all been excellent, showing sympathy and understanding. All the meals have been well presented and the food is excellent.
I am returning home today, feeling better, refreshed and with increased movement and far less pain.

I booked in a visitor in order to visit my wife in a nearby nursing home. The building was magnificent, the staff friendly and helpful and the room excellent and the food fine.
I was called away prematurely, but would certainly visit again.
More residents would have made the experience more socially
stimulating.
