Nowton Court Village

Thank you for looking after my mum so well. You were all kind, caring and thoughtful and it was good to know mum was in safe hands.

Very pleasant. All my needs were catered for i.e. toilet raiser, commode, an electric chair to raise me up. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I do not have a good appetite so asked for a lighter lunch and a salad supper which was duly produced. On Sunday the 10th, an afternoon tea was arranged to celebrate VE day. As I was in isolation I was unable to attend. I was brought up some cakes and prosecco which cheered me up.

The staff at all levels were so caring. We would not hesitate to place Mum at Nowton Court again for respite care.

The management and catering team went above and beyond to ensure Mum's wake was fitting for her. They treated me with compassion and ensured everything from the first planning meeting up to, and including, the day was stress-free. I cannot thank them enough and Mum would've loved the chocolate cupcakes! This just confirms the wonderful, compassionate support that has always been given to my late Mum and myself.

I really enjoyed my brief stay at Nowton Court, following major foot surgery at BMI. My big room was a pleasure to be in, particularly the view over the beautiful garden. After the hospital bed, yours was a great joy. It was utterly peaceful, only interrupted by the arrival of nice meals. No one bothered me but I know help was there if I needed it. I am sure my stay has really helped my good recovery. The only negative was the carpet needed cleaning or replacing and also maybe a bigger TV for such a big space.

I wish them all the best and look forward to seeing them all again.

'Use it or lose it' type activities on wet and bad weather days.

My husband was very comfortable during his two week stay and I felt very secure in the knowledge that he was in good hands. All the staff were really lovely.

Being independent, I liked to recover in my own time and Nowton Court allowed me to do this whilst always being there as a "safety net". Lovely building excellent facilities, beautiful grounds and I felt safe and nurtured and it certainly aided my recovery. I would highly recommend as a place to heal. Lovely people.

The welcome, food, cleaning, laundry, service regarding wi-fi, etc, the concierges, the night attendants - everyone in other words - have been kind, attentive, ready to fix or adjust whatever needed doing to my needs. Excellent decision after knee surgery to recover here!!

A bit lacking in residential presence and activity. Most residents seem to keep to their comfortable rooms. An excellent full library.

My mother came to Nowton when her ability to live independently became difficult. Nowton Court was a perfect step from home to assisted living. Everyone at N Court welcomed her warmly and looked after her needs with dignity, compassion as well as good humour. N Court operates very efficiently and professionally, but no-one ever forgets it is the resident's home from home.

Cleaning staff and ladies who serve the meals and concierge, all very good.

Absolutely I would stay there again.

Everything was perfect, they could not do any more if they tried. Everyone was helpful, could not do enough for you.

Came following serious illness in hospital. Found all staff very kind, helpful and willing to put themselves out for my Mother. We moved to a nursing home as my Mother needed nursing rather than care but have no qualms about recommending this lovely place to anyone who needs cossetting. Thanks a million to you all.

My mother was in desperate need of respite. She is in her 80's now and has been a full-time carer for 18 years. She was nervous about being a strange place but the staff were fantastic. The house is fabulous and my mum's room comfortable and cosy. My mother particularly recommended to food, in fact, she returned to Nowton Court Village for a second visit!

The house is incredibly peaceful and I would highly recommend for rest and recuperation. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my mother.
