The Meadows

My father finally got support and care whilst living here. The staff were amazing and my dad was really happy! The manager was brilliant and always kept us informed and up to date.

It is rare to feel that every individual has value within any service provision industry. This, however, is exactly what The Meadows provides for me. A beautiful, spacious flat to call home and a care team who give me everything I need and far beyond; dignity, respect, the right to choose, the right to voice my needs and opinion, encouragement, support and so on. From receptionists to domestics and care staff to management - everone at The Meadows follows and strong ethos that makes me feel valued and respected.

I love The Meadows. The care is great and has improved my whole life.

The units are first class and the care and compassion shown by all the staff members I met are exemplary.

We join my sister in a memory club, and we find the two people who run this event are very caring and try to get them to join in every aspect of the club. We also find the rest of the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

I moved into The Meadows in July after being looked after at home for one month. There is no comparison, the care given here is second to none. When I was at home I was permanently fearful of the carers coming into my home. Here I feel safe, relaxed, happy and content. For a woman of 93, I feel thats how it should be. Thank you.

The care village is making Audrey very happy and it makes visiting her an enjoyable occasion. All the staff are very friendly and will spend time talking to us which makes life worthwhile. The Meadows is managed superbly, an excellent home for all concerned.

We were fortunate to get a place here and my mum has flourished. The staff are caring kind and patient and most of all sympathetic to her needs. She has a soft spot for their care and their compassion. Best move we made! Mum is happy again!

When I moved into The Meadows Dec 24 I was surprised by the greeting and the initial settling in was very good. The carers and staff were and still are very conciderate and helpful. I find the facilities in general very good.

This home is a great example of how a home should be run. Friendly caring staff and kind management. So happy to be here.

Over 6 years my Aunt was treated with great dignity and respect. In this last month before she died even more so much more than in the hospital and we are so grateful for everyone's care and attention. The only criticism we had was a leak which had appeared on her ceiling although stopped left an unsightly large mark for about a year. But the care and staff were excellent.

In the last difficult two weeks of her life, Mum was cared for beautifully and consistently by The Meadows staff. She loved living here.

I have nothing but the highest admiration and respect for all the staff, carers and admin who cared for my sister during her last days. Some of the carers exceeded the expected levels of support both before and during her short illness. Thank you to all concerned for your support during this difficult time.

You cannot find a better care facility than The Meadows. Everything is fantastic from the flats, the facilities and the staff. Everyone is respectful, kind, caring and go above and beyond to help. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to live.

I have been very impressed at the way the staff have been both polite and helpful. Although the building is a large building it is easy to move around without getting lost. There are plenty of books to read along with activities often in the bar and lounge. I struggle being in crowds but found it has not been a problem as the staff have bought food to my room and collected crockery/cutlery later. The staff in the coffee shop have helped me in regards to my confusion in my food purchases.

For a non-private sector facility, I would really recommend The Meadows.

The Meadows is an excellent place to live and I am very happy here. All the staff are very good, kind and helpful and help you in any way they can. There is always something going on to join in if we wish.
