The care is excellent. My mum is treated so well by the staff and always with dignity. It's clever that they are genuinely fond of her and she of them.
Other aspects of the home are perfectly adequate. The most impotant thing is that we trust the staff to treat her with respect.

Lloyd Park Nursing Home has been looking after Mrs Joan for four years, during which time the staff and management have provided perfectly tailored care to Mrs Joan ever mindful of her dementia diagnosis, her other medical needs and her disposition day to day. I have been provided with regular updates
regarding her well-being, and feel assured that she is being excellently looked after.

My visit was during a very busy lunch when the number of residents seemed extremely high and more disturbed and needy than usual. They needed more staff on this shift. Have been happy with the care but was slightly worried on this occasion.

Excellent nursing home, management and staff are friendly, caring, always happy to chat and answer all questions and any worries that I have. Willow Lodge is clean and the food is excellent with plenty of variety. I highly recommend. Beautiful garden space for residents to enjoy in the warmer days,
with plenty of shelter.

The manager who does the absolute minimal in terms of customer-facing care ignored my emails on more than one occasion, and still hasn't replied 4 months later!. No reassurance, energy or enthusiasm when I have spoken with her. The nursing staff is very considerate and knowledgeable. Care Assistants
are helpful, although they often have limited knowledge of the resident's likes and dislikes.
Internet is very poor, even phone calls lose reception, or crackle during a call.
The garden is very high-fenced. No views across any horizon which is important for reality and calming by my relative. Feels hemmed in.

I know this is frustrating. The social worker for your loved one is fully aware. We are pleased to see your comments regarding the care staff. Prior to a resident moving into one of our homes we always encourage loved ones to visit first to ensure they are happy with all areas. This was the case for you - we haven't made any alterations to the garden or views. Like any home we can have issues with the internet at times unfortunately, the network provider have been upgrading their network, as we have experienced service issues as well.
We take on board any feedback and are happy to meet to discuss the matter further.

My dear friend has been living in Willow Lodge since March 2023 and I and her other visitors have nothing but praise for Willow Lodge, the manager and her staff. The manager sets a caring ethos, encouraging her staff to be lively and playful with residents so that they will sense their energy and happiness
and this will improve the well-being of the residents.
We are so pleased with the homeliness of Willow Lodge and have confidence in the skill of the carers to identify my friend's needs which she cannot articulate for herself.
Willow Lodge has been having a makeover but this has to be done around the continuing care of all the residents so it must have been a challenging few months, but everyone stays calm and positive whenever I have been there.

Although the staff at the home are extremely caring and pleasant the pictures do not represent the actual rooms and facilities at Willow Lodge. The home is rather tatty and unkept for the amount they charge on a monthly basis!
The place does not get maintained on a regular basis and appears to be
scruffy.
