Staff have regularly visited him in hospital, have taken him back to the home as soon as he has recovered sufficiently, and have tended to him and have nursed him back to full health. In fact, I honestly don't think that my brother in law would be in as good health as he currently is had it not been for the staff and care he has received at College Hill. I would not consider moving him anywhere else as a result and I would have no issue whatsoever in recommending College Hill to anyone who might be considering care for their loved ones.

both Mum and I were welcomed with open arms, the staff were happy and well presented, I was given regular updates on things Mum was doing via email which was a lovely idea and when I went to collect her noticed she had put a little weight on and had such rosy cheeks, she looked so well and happy. It’s just a shame I’ve had to bring her closer to me otherwise I would have loved her to be a permanent resident. What a lovely place. She even made some friends during her short stay. Thank you to everyone for caring for my mum.

home, I get a warm welcome and it really feels like a home. It is always spotless and always nicely decorated for various occasions, like Christmas or a birthday. The home made my nan's 90th so very special. The home always strives to keep its residents entertained, organising various activities and outings, including a trip to the panto. My nan is very happy here and will be sad to leave when her house is fully ready for her.

make my cousin's stay at Honister even better. The manager has taken the time to find out what my cousin likes to do and incorporated this into the activities that are on offer. He is doing an excellent job and I feel confident that my cousin is receiving the best possible care.

The manager has been wonderful in advocating for her in meetings. We know he has big plans for the home, and we will miss him!
Unfortunately, the Honister was a short-term solution as she needed to be closer to her sons. Staff and residents had a goodbye party, with chocolate cake and a potted plant to take with her. My mother said how much she had enjoyed her stay, saying that no one had told her off, and she could do as she wanted! As she has been in a controlling marriage this means a lot.
Thank you all for looking after her, in her own words, we'll bring her back to haunt you!
