The manager and all the staff at College Hill Care Home are fantastic and take great care of my mother. It's really reassuring knowing that she is well looked after and my family and I are very grateful for their professionalism and hard work.

My brother-in law, has been at College Hill Residential Home for a number of years now. He has always been well looked after there and I have never had cause to doubt that he is receiving excellent care. Since moving there he has had a couple of stays in hospital due to illness (not related to College
Hill in any way) and we have always been informed immediately by the staff at the home about the details of what has happened. Staff have regularly visited him in hospital, have taken him back to the home as soon as he has recovered sufficiently, and have tended to him and have nursed him back to full health. In fact, I honestly don't think that my brother in law would be in as good health as he currently is had it not been for the staff and care he has received at College Hill. I would not consider moving him anywhere else as a result and I would have no issue whatsoever in recommending College Hill to anyone who might be considering care for their loved ones.

Me and my family are very thankful to College Hill Care Home for looking after my mother. Two members of staff in particular are so helpful as well as all the staff. They look after my mother and I like the family feel of the home.

My mum suffers with advanced dementia, she has just spent 3 weeks in respite and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care she received, the staff are lovely and the care home itself is very clean, I had mixed feelings of leaving my mum in respite, but the minute I walked in I felt at ease and
both Mum and I were welcomed with open arms, the staff were happy and well presented, I was given regular updates on things Mum was doing via email which was a lovely idea and when I went to collect her noticed she had put a little weight on and had such rosy cheeks, she looked so well and happy. It’s just a shame I’ve had to bring her closer to me otherwise I would have loved her to be a permanent resident. What a lovely place. She even made some friends during her short stay. Thank you to everyone for caring for my mum.

This home has been great for my nan, and they have been great in helping her rehab her hip to the point she is now walking and doing stairs with confidence. All the staff treat her with the utmost care and dignity. The staff always keep me informed about my nan's care and health. Whenever I visit the
home, I get a warm welcome and it really feels like a home. It is always spotless and always nicely decorated for various occasions, like Christmas or a birthday. The home made my nan's 90th so very special. The home always strives to keep its residents entertained, organising various activities and outings, including a trip to the panto. My nan is very happy here and will be sad to leave when her house is fully ready for her.

My brother resides at College Hill and is very happy there. He has been in care most of his adult life due to mental health issues and he has never seemed happier in any of the previous places that he has stayed so we are very satisfied with the care he is receiving there.

I have been visiting my close friend at this care home for 10 years and have always been impressed with the care provided by the management and staff. Very friendly atmosphere and the premises are extremely clean and well kept. If I was having to go into a care home, this is the one I would choose
and I know my relatives would feel secure in the knowledge that I am being cared for in a lovely home.

Absolutely immaculate care home, so clean and fresh, all rooms look amazing. Staff are just amazing, kind and patient. This is where I want to be when I need care in the future.
I would not hesitate having any family member of mine in this care home with the manager and her team, they are all amazing
and do amazing work to a very high standard.
