We chose Braeburn Lodge as this is a smaller care home and this would be a better setting for our grandfather. From our first meeting with questions, then queries by phone or email, these were addressed and we were reassured at each step.
Granpa loves it at Braeburn and all the staff. I've found the
staff are well attentive, the care and love they show to each resident is abundantly clear.
Braeburn arrange trips out to see the ducks or to stop for tea nearby. They have entertainment and exercises in the lounge area, these are appropriate for the capabilities of the residents. Updates on the activities are shared on their social media posts, these are a joy to see and Granpa clearly enjoying them.
The staff at Braeburn Lodge are brilliant. Highly recommend.

Breaburn is an exceptional care home with exceptional and caring staff.
The accommodation and bedrooms are to a very high standard - it really feels like a home.
The food is cooked from fresh and better than most local restaurants.
What makes Breaburn so unique is its size - with only 12 residents
- staff are able to provide personal care which they have done each day for Les over the last 19 months. He is so happy and settled and that is all we can ask for.
The staff also make us (family and friends) feel so very welcome - it is a joy to be there!

I cannot rate Braeburn highly enough.
This is a small residential home where the personal touch is of paramount importance to all members of staff and residents needs are known intimately. However it's also much more than this, where the team form strong relationships with both the residents and
their visitors and work closely together to ensure an individual approach and personal touch to the care provided.
Rooms are clean, modern and well furnished. The quality of food (having sampled on several occasions) is excellent. All necessarily facilities are available.
Having had reason to spend a lot of time here recently, I've had the opportunity to understand the operation more fully and get to know the team, all of whom are superb. Further, having visited a number of care homes over the years, Braeburn stands out as going above and beyond and a clear cut above the rest.
My grandfather joined Braeburn almost 2 years and very much regards this as his home.
Highly recommended.

Staff always very supportive & caring. They also are informed & know how to respond to anything unusual & are speedy in their response to anything urgent. I am contacted quickly after anything out of the ordinary, once medical advice has been sought. They also take care of the ordinary, that I may not
have thought of, e.g. with dentures. I am so relieved that all the pressures I had have been under are lifted off me.

We couldn't ask for better care for mum. She is treated with such kindness. It is such a happy home, lots of laughter and fun together with care and compassion. The residents are taken out, they have entertainment and they are served delicious food. Mum is genuinely happy there and we are so grateful
for all the staff do for her.

Braeburn Lodge Care Home provides a friendly, welcoming home from home environment due to its size for 12 residents. The staff are attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and very supportive. The quality and level of care provided is excellent. The home is safe, secure and is perfect for my mother's wellbeing.
She enjoys the activities, the quizzes, crafts and the weekly outings in the minibus, which is such a bonus for elderly residents' mobility, mood and interests. The home is well maintained and the food is nutritious and appetising. I recommend this care home.

I have visited this facilitiy a few times over the last few months. Each time I have to press the bell to allow a member of staff to let me in and out.
My friend always seems very happy and contented. The staff are always so helpful to me and my friend. The food looks so appetising and helathy. Plenty
of activities are provided for the residents. The communal room and bedrooms are spotless.
I cannot emphasie enough on the ability and caring nature that the staff give to the residents.

We feel we have landed on our feet with Braeburn Lodge. It's been an emotional time having to put our relative into a care home. The care industry is like the wild west so to find Braeburn Lodge has been a happy accident. All the staff are so caring and the place is clean and welcoming. My step-mum
seems really happy and there's always a cup of tea for me when I arrive. It's the true meaning of a "care" "home". It's definitely both.

For the five weeks my aunt stayed at Braeburn Lodge , the service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
Her health and overall physical condition improved immensely and she thoroughly enjoyed her time there.
She and her immediate family can only shower praise upon the very
friendly staff and we say a big thankyou to all of them.

All staff are very friendly and already have gone above and beyond in welcoming Mum into their care. In particular, during a recent room swap, a member of staff rearranged the new room upon request (the same day) to provide more space and to also help reduce Mum's anxiety about change. It is still
early days but presently I feel very happy with my Mother's care and surroundings.

Wonderful care home.
Since my mother became a resident, she has been surrounded by the best care and ultimately, love.
Nothing is too much trouble, ideas, plans and needs are often suggested before I ask.
Staff are so friendly to the guests, families and visitors. The manager, senior carer, chef,
maintenance, housekeepers, everyone is involved with the residents and treat them with dignity and respect but also laugh with them and have fun.
Residents are entertained on a daily basis with in-house activities, crafts, baking and a 'theme week' occurs nearly every week of the year! Trips out are a frequent occurrence, treats are encouraged.
This is now my mum's safe space, she is happy and content and wants for nothing.
A brilliant place, five stars from me!

The care and support my mum has received since moving to Braeburn Lodge has been excellent. The staff and management have gone over and above in taking care of my mum and helping her to adjust to being in residential care. Nothing is too much and I am very happy that my mum is in such a lovely and well-run
care home.

My grandma has been at Braeburn Lodge for over six years now, the home has provided her with a homely and safe place to live where she receives all the help and care she needs.
I like that it is a small care home, it always feels clean and the staff are always helpful and caring. Also, there are plenty
of activities/trips out that Grandma loves to be involved in.
I would definitely recommend Braeburn to anyone needing the facilities, care and comfort they offer.
P.S. Thank you for all you do for Grandma!
