The care home is clean and it has a nice garden that can be used.

My mum arrived in April.We are extremely happy with the care home.It feels like one big family .Such wonderful staff that couldn't do any more such kind people that understand how upsetting it can be for us as a family.This all goes down to Zoe the manager.Thanks so much

Braeburn Lodge Care home is a home from home friendly and supportive care home which I feel provides the best level of care for dementia and mental health. It provides entertainment, outings in the mini bus and physical exercise activities for the residents, ensuring that they enjoy the best possible care during their stay. The staff are excellent and attentive. I recommend this care home.

I felt my step-mum was in really safe hands. The food was excellent and a lovely touch was everyone would eat their meals together around the dining table. I could turn up at any time and was always made to feel welcome. The building was clean and bright and everyone was immaculately dressed. Despite the challenges my step-mum had, they made her comfortable, safe, and made her laugh a lot.

All staff were excellent, very attentive and loving towards my partner. The entire home was kept immaculately clean. My partner was included in art projects and entertainment several times a week which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff went over-and-above for any special occasions, which included birthdays, Burns Night and Valentine's Day. The food was outstanding and I very much appreciated being invited to join the residents for a meal.

Staff are very friendly making the Home feel like a family residence. They are always happy to update you.

Staff always very supportive & caring. They also are informed & know how to respond to anything unusual & are speedy in their response to anything urgent. I am contacted quickly after anything out of the ordinary, once medical advice has been sought. They also take care of the ordinary, that I may not have thought of, e.g. with dentures. I am so relieved that all the pressures I had have been under are lifted off me.

Always a cheerful greeting and offers of drinks on arrival.

We couldn't ask for better care for mum. She is treated with such kindness. It is such a happy home, lots of laughter and fun together with care and compassion. The residents are taken out, they have entertainment and they are served delicious food. Mum is genuinely happy there and we are so grateful for all the staff do for her.

I cannot emphasie enough on the ability and caring nature that the staff give to the residents.

My sister stayed at Braeburn Lodge for two weeks respite care, this being her first experience of such a stay. She settled in well as the staff were all very welcoming and understanding. She enjoyed the activities provided especially trips out in the minibus. Thank you to everyone who made her stay so enjoyable and for looking after her so well.

My partner lives in this care home and she suffers with anxiety,the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure my partner doesn't want for anything.my partner has settled in well and loves staying there

All staff are very friendly and already have gone above and beyond in welcoming Mum into their care. In particular, during a recent room swap, a member of staff rearranged the new room upon request (the same day) to provide more space and to also help reduce Mum's anxiety about change. It is still early days but presently I feel very happy with my Mother's care and surroundings.

Went to see my friend's mum on an impromptu Friday in January 2025, what a gem of a find. Fabulous little care home, very friendly and super clean, great gardens too, lovely to see such happy residents.
