Applewood has consistently offered excellent care to my step brother, he has various needs. They treat him with care and respect, always with kindness. I am contacted and kept informed of anything pertaining to him. The staff are friendly, available to answer questions and concerns.

My mum was only at Chatterwood for the final 5 months of her life. But in that short time the staff at Chatterwood ensured my mum was well cared for with compassion and dignity. All the staff throughout the home were always so friendly and caring and took the time to get to know her. Would fully recommend
people to consider it for their loved ones.

My mother was in Chatterwood for a short time for end of life care. The staff were all brilliant, with my Mum, and with us family. They were attentive, kind and thoughtful as well as being professional, honest and caring all through my mother's short stay. She sadly passed away on the 3rd June and the
staff went above and beyond to make sure her last days were as comfortable as possible. I cannot fault their care and dedication.

Well-run small care home giving a high level of security and support. Lovely bright home with a beautiful outlook onto a well-tended garden. Lots of activities and good family/carer contact. I always feel very welcome when I visit.

My husband was a resident at Chatterwood from mid January until the beginning of April, when we were able to effect his transfer to home so he could be cared for here. The care he received at Chatterwood was extremely good, the staff were kind and caring. There were individual staff members who really
went the extra mile for him, and we are grateful for everything done for him. We would recommend Chatterwood for its homely feel and wrap around care/

My Aunty has lived at Applewood since October 2019. As her needs have changed and condition deteriorated the staff have always adapted to her and still include her as much as possible with visits, activities etc.

Outstanding care in a beautiful environment. I have immense praise for all the staff for their care and kindness to their clients. The home is wonderfully clean and well presented. This was my second experience with Chatterwood House Nursing Home. My mother moved there in 2020 and after a visit with
her, my aunt asked me if she could also move there when the time came as she could see how lovely the home was and the outstanding care. Both my mother and aunt were very happy at Chatterwood.

My mother was admitted to Applewood care home in February 2020 at the age of 99 after suffering a fall, fracturing her wrist and pelvis. She was also suffering from dementia. Throughout the 5 years, she has been very well cared for. The staff are all very friendly, working efficiently as a team providing
a high standard of care. Over time her physical and mental condition have deteriorated steadily and the home has taken the necessary steps to adjust her care to avoid accidents and to provide appropriate stimulation.

My mum loves being here. The staff are fantastic I can't fault anyone. They're always friendly and it's nice to hear laughter (mum joins in). The activities are fun, which I usually join in with if I'm there at the time. I know Mum loves it when they go out in the minibus. It's a pity to hear about
the dining room ceiling falling in but hopefully, it'll be sorted out ready for their Christmas dinner.

The first time I visited, I was greeted by a very friendly reception team and escorted to my friend's room. I was offered a tea or coffee. My friend's care was amazing - she wanted for nothing/ I regularly saw a member of staff sitting holding her hand and comforting her. The room and home was spotless.
I recommend Chatterwood House Nursing Home 100%!

Applewood Care Home treats all its residents with the greatest of respect. My mother has been in their care from the early stages of Alzheimer's and has enjoyed many trips out and events at the care home. I would definitely recommend Applewood to anyone who wants their loved one to be cared for and

The residents are all treated with equal kindness and compassion, this creates a happy, homely and content atmosphere for residents, staff and visitors. My husband is a resident and I cannot fault the communication from Applewood which is key when trusting the care of a loved one, I have the utmost

My dear mum was looked after so well at Chatterwood. The staff were lovely and friendly - the building and surroundings were beautiful. There were great activities for Mum to join in with - singers, and cookery, on the day she left us there was a fun D-Day event. It was an emotional and sad day for
me and my family as we gathered close to Mum as she went on her final journey but the staff looked after us - and made a room available for us to use next door to Mum and supplied us with tea, coffee and snacks etc. I would recommend this home a thousand times over for the care and attention they gave to my mum.
