My father was cared for at Ganarew House for over four years until he died last month. We were so pleased to find Ganarew for him; it was just perfect in every way. Close to the A40 made it easy to get to for visiting, and the setting is just beautiful. Dad enjoyed the views and our little walks around the grounds and church next door. The home is caring, lively and very homely. They support their residents, who all have problems with dementia, with activities, chats and meet their daily washing dressing and eating needs. There was never a moment when we were disappointed with Ganarew. His final days and death there were particularly well managed.

I am very grateful to all those who work at Ganarew and deliver such exceptional care to my wife. They are wonderfully kind to all the residents which I witness on a daily basis when I spend time there. Visitors are always made to feel welcome. In the four years my wife has spent there I have never had cause to take issue with them. They have always been very considerate whenever I have wondered about my wife's health, and have picked up changes in her condition long before me.

I am unable to comment in detail about the food as not present at meal time.

I love how the majority of staff make you feel welcome and always make time for you if you have any queries or concerns , management are great any issues they will always do there best to solve it and always listen to any concerns we have overall great place and very friendly

Staff are lovely,accommodating and approachable, there is always some sort of activity going on from singing to bingo and more

Ganarew is a fabulous home, small & personal which is ideal for Mum with Alzeimers as she struggles with changes/newness & unfamiliar surroundings. the staff are hardworking but kind & approachable & I feel happy that Mum is well taken care of 24/7.

My father was very well looked after. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the house is in a lovely location. The staff are unbelievably caring, and showed so much love and support to my father and kindness to myself and family. The food is amazing and cooked fresh every day and a lot of effort goes into making sure residents eat. I would highly recommend this home.

When mother get worked up she can be a right handful, Calvin is outstanding the way he talks to mother to take her mind off what's upsetting her,such a gentleman, staff are so professional ,and the food is to die for,such a relaxing atmosphere

My mum has been a resident for nearly 5 years. The home always has activities on for the residends that she enjoys. Staff are lovely, very, helpful and treat the residends well. Food is lovely. Home is lovely and clean and in a beautifl settering.

I'm extremely pleased with the care my mother receives at this care home. The staff are consistently professional caring and genuinely kind, creating a warm and supportive environment. The food is excellent with plenty of choice and the cleanliness throughout the home is always outstanding. I have complete peace of mind knowing she is so well looked after.

The quality of care provided to my dad has been outstanding. The staff and management are incredibly professional and supportive.

Staff are excellent on a day to day basis, however there have been no structured activities since the last activity co-ordinator left in 2024.

The Orchard Care Home is excellent. They are very accommodating and very flexible. They have a good staff to resident ratio. They do nice day trips and lots of activities. They are very responsible regarding medications and doctors appoints. They manage conflict well. They are all very kind and respectful. The food is of a high standard. The home itself is well looked after and maintained.

So I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful home from home.

Wonderful! Staff are caring and look after mum's every need. They know my mum better than we do. Lovely place for mum to be and it gives us pleasure to visit.

Staff always welcoming and helpful and have always treated my father with dignity and respect. The staff seem to always know what is going on and are there immediately when needed or a potential problem arises. Neither I or my sister have ever heard annoyed raised voices from staff and witnessed them cope well and support each other when met with different situations. A manager is always on hand to speak with, if required. The staff deserve the highest praise for the not always easy job they do. Recently our brother also visited and commented very favourably on the new decoration. After nearly 4 years, neither I or my sister, who visit at least weekly, have once been disappointed or felt let down by Ganarew Care Home. For my father's particular needs bearing in mind he is mobile but now doubly incontinent and has little memory beyond the present 30 seconds, we do not think we could have chosen anywhere better. A big thank you to you all.

My family and I are very pleased with the care provided to my mother Mary. When ever we visit Mary is always well dress and happy. The staff always look presentable and help us with our wishes. Mary has been at the Ganarew a couple of years and she is well looked after. Your care home is highly recommended.

My mother moved in this summer. She was made to feel very welcome as were the family. My mother settled in within 3 days and enjoys her time at Ganarew. Staff are extremely helpful and a happy bunch. My mother's treated with respect and I couldn't ask for any better. Totally happy with this carehome. First class
