Mum is treated with dignity and respect. She is well looked after by staff. The home is well managed, always clean and tidy. Staff are dedicated to their job, they are professional and friendly. The food is home cooked and nutritious with choice given to residents about what they prefer to eat. There is a large range of healthy food to choose from. During the day residents are supported to take part in activities such as cooking, crafting, looking at books and take part in games. There is also regular entertainment on offer such as singers often singing songs from different eras and interacting with residents, magic shows and people from the church giving talks etc. overall I am happy and reassured that my mum is taken care of and safe.

My mother has recently passed away. She spent the last six and a half years of her life at Carleen and I find it hard to imagine anywhere else where she might have been better looked after. The staff were very professional and caring. Communications always clear, whether face to face or by email. An excellent care home.

My family were treated with consistent kindness and compassion by all who worked there including and not limited to nursing, housekeeping, support and management team.

I found the staff very warm and welcoming each time I visited a great contrast to the hospital where no-one seemed to know about the patient. My family were pleased with care given to my dying husband and I felt kindly supported throughout the two weeks he was in The Grange. We were given a 60th anniversary card and congratulations by the staff I met on that day, wonderful experience at a very difficult time - my thanks to all.

Mum spent more that 5 years in The Grange, arriving during COVID. She has been supported and cared for with the utmost care and dignity throughout her whole time there.

Nothing is too much trouble and he is settled and happy.The food is varied and well cooked.The care at this lovely home helps me to feel less anxious and guilty that his life has come to this.My family and I including Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren are always made very welcome.Thank you for all your ongoing support.

The care they deliver goes way beyond the resident . From, my perspective and what I have witnessed at Carleen, often people who are coming to the end of their life are surrounded by loving family and friends whose grief probably started way before the moment of death. We were helped immeasurably by their presence and involvement. Being responsible for your parent is at times overwhelming but we never felt that we were alone. The reassurance that came from a feeling of working together, a collaboration of care all focused and wrapped around my mum is something we are so grateful for and will always remember

I would like to say a massive thank you to Anija and her team at Carleen. My father spent 9 months with Carleen and I can only say amazing things about them. I can honestly say that I felt my father was 100% safe and looked after in their care. The cleanliness, attention to detail and care was second to none. The staff were always so well mannered, attentive and caring. I can't recommend this place enough if you want to feel that your family member is being looked after in an empathetic and caring way. Thank you for everything over the last 9 months, I will always remember your care for my father fondly xxxx

Excellent care and kindness demonstrated at all times and nothing is too much trouble. Staff seem to really cate about the patient's wellbeing, the food is very good and fresh and it provides peace of mind during such distressing times.

I am extremely pleased with the wonderful care of my Mum at Thalassa Nursing home. She was always safe, secure and treated with respect and kindness by the whole staff. Alongside this, the support, communication, compassion and understanding of us as a family, especially my father, was above and beyond our expectations. I have recommended Thalassa to other families looking for excellent care for their loved ones. I am already determined that my father will join the Thalassa family when his own needs require professional care. Thank you, everyone, especially two very special members of staff who, without their guidance and positive support, I would not have had the strength and confidence to support both my parents on their rollercoaster dementia journey. My Mum has been in The Carleen for nearly a year. When she arrived, we were all shell-shocked from her rapid decline in health, and having to navigate the hospital and social care systems. The staff at The Carleen welcomed all of us with open arms and we've settled and healed a lot, with the great support of everyone at this incredible home. Mum is so well cared for, the staff are exceptional and frequently go above and beyond to look after not just her, but us family members too. We can all relax, knowing she's safe, comfortable, happy and very well cared for when we're not there. The Carleen is such a special place, there's no institutional feeling, it's like a lovely family home. We really enjoy going there and are always welcome. I'm beyond grateful for everyone at The Carleen. They have made a difficult situation, not only bearable, but great, for all of us - especially my Mum. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do.

I want to say what a wonderful place the Carleen Nursing Home is. Though my Dad was only there for two weeks the staff were amazing, giving him dignity and respectful care that you also extended to our family during his last days. For which we will be forever grateful. Thank you.

My father was only in The Grange Nursing Home for just three weeks. In that short time I cannot fault his care. He was able to return his dignity right up until the end.

It was mum's birthday recently and the staff gave her such a lovely day, which was very unexpected and appreciated. Mum now sees Carleen as her home and I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else, a wonderful place!

We are very happy with all aspects of my husband's stay at The Grange.
