I can't express the highest of care for my husband over a year and a half. The nurses, the care staff and management were second to none in every possible way. They were caring and made our visits easy . We can't praise them enough. My husband thought of everyone as family , which made it easier for
us. Well done Acacia for making my husband dementia journey easier to manage too.

When my partners mother entered Creedy House in March I was very sceptical RE care homes, but I find it a lovely experience visiting on a regular basis. Everybody from senior management down to carers, cooks, cleaners etc are so well trained, compassionate and look after their service users in an impeccable
way. Also the input into activities for the clients is second to none. Well done to all at Creedy House.

Earlier this year, my brother, sister and I arranged respite care at Oakdale for our mum, Sally. Mum was there for eight weeks and was looked after very well. The food was plentiful and there were indoor and outdoor activities for the residents. The staff are lovely (and some have been there for
years, which speaks volumes). Oakdale has a very 'family' feel to it and we were always made to feel very welcome when visiting. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Oakdale to others.

Acacia House has welcomed my mum, who has a range of needs related to dementia and frailty, and given her a happy and safe place to be. There are so many staff who are always welcoming and supportive to my mum and to myself. The home has lovely rooms and space for visiting or spending time. The nurses
are always available to talk to for support and information. My mum has already made some good friends and is being cared for incredibly well.
Reply from Cristian Tarus, Home Manager at Acacia House - TenterdenThank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. My dad was in Creedy House for about 7 weeks before he passed. The manageress, Nesta, and all her staff supported dad with dignity, respect and empathy for the entire time he was there, the care was excellent. There was plenty of social stimulation for him in the lounge when he was able to be with others,
and the music and singing were especially appreciated as dad loved music and dancing. The staff did their utmost to support dad with his eating and general care, and provided excellent empathic nursing care throughout. Nesta is lovely, and was a huge support for me while dad was at the Creedy, and along with all her staff made me, my mum and family feel supported and welcome whenever we visited dad. A lovely care home and highly recommended!

My godmother fell and shattered her shoulder. As she lives alone, she needed care and rehab to get her back on her feet. The staff have been friendly and kind, and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have been assisting her by doing her personal care in a respectful manner. They have been helping
her to keep mobile by taking her for walks down the corridor. The room is quite small but ok. The meals are generally ok, but not like home cooked food. She has been well cared for, and I can see her getting brighter and stronger. To need someone to care for her, this place has been amazing.

It was a refuge when needed. I live alone and fell and shattered my right shoulder in 4 places and also broke my wrist. I've been unable to look after myself and have come in for respite and rehab. The care has been good and staff have been kind & considerate. They are helping me to keep mobile with
the intention of getting home again.

Oakdale was recommended to me for daycare by a work colleague whose mother is a resident.
I cannot fault the staff how they are with the residents and how accommodating the management are in people attending. Oakdale have been a god send to me as I work full time and was unable to leave my mum along
during the day. It was never too much trouble to ask at late notice. They always accommodated a space for mum.
Not only are all the staff lovely and kind to the residents they all seem happy amongst themselves and in their job which creates a really good feeling in the home.

I recommend Oakdale more than 100% and wholeheartedly thank them for being so amazing, kind and genuinely caring.

My father spent almost a month at Acacia House during the last few weeks of his life. He was terminal and deteriorating fast but I can honestly say that despite the circumstances, both my father and I were thoroughly pleased with the team, his room and his overall care. From the moment my father arrived
to the moment of his passing he was treated with dignity, respect and utmost care. The facilities are very clean and pleasant. The staff are patient and caring. They answered all of my questions and took the time to ensure I was kept in the loop with his treatment and medication. Overall, I am pleased with every aspect of his stay at Acacia House and would highly recommend it.

My dad moved from another care home into Creedy House. I had been unhappy with the previous home from lack of care and stimulation and activities. Also lack of full knowledge of Type 1 diabetes and the provision needed to care for my dad with diabetes and other age related illnesses. On arriving at
Creedy House my family and dad were made very welcome and reassured of care and understanding of his needs. I was finally content to elae my dad in a professional setting and care of others. My dad passed 3 weeks after arriving and was happy he had moved and given the respect and care at the end of his life.
