Creedy House is a superb, well presented nursing/care home. The manager is so hands on and devoted to her residents and likewise her staff. My mother and my father were very comfortable here. I can rest assured that they are cared for with compassion and dignity. I would recommend Creedy House without
hesitation.

I stayed at Oakdale for 2 weeks for respite care after being very unwell since the beginning of the year. I was treated very well with help and kindness. Everyone works so hard to provide special care for all residents, whether short or long-term requirements. Thank you to everyone.

My mum always looks happy and well cared for, and the staff are friendly, caring and well trained. Mum settled in really quickly, enjoys all the varied activities on offer, and she never asks to go home. The staff also know my dad and family well from our visits, and they include us in decision-making
and always make us feel part of the Oakdale family.

Mum has been at Oakdale for just over a year. Initially didn't like it. However has now settled and often tells us that she likes living in Oakdale. This is a credit to staff who have made mum felt cared for and supported. Has a good rapport with staff and is involved in most activities available to
her. As a family we would recommend Oakdale.

Our aunt stayed for three weeks and said that she had found her stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely to be around, they made her feel very welcome.
Her room had en-suite facilities and meant she was able to continue her independence at all times.
The food was very good
and a continuous supply of tea, biscuits and cake.
Before the stay our aunt was very negative about staying but has now said that she would definitely stay there again if she ever needed to.

I found the staff to be cheerful and professional. On the rare occasions I wanted to discuss any subject ranging from obtaining equipment to food requirements both the nursing staff and senior management were approachable and responsive.
When Dad had bouts of illness the staff communicated well and
responded quickly to the situation.
Dad's room was bright and airy and he settled in very quickly, forming a good bond with the staff. He found much happiness in his final few months and the family are grateful for the staff for making that possible.

Our Dad is currently staying at your facility. He initially came for a two-week respite, which we extended for an additional two weeks, and we are now confident that this will become a permanent arrangement.

From his very first day, we have been incredibly impressed by how friendly and welcoming

all the carers have been. Dad was made to feel like a part of the family, which is especially significant as he is normally quite reserved. Despite our visiting times being varied due to our work schedules, every time we visit, he seems happy and we love seeing him interact with other residents.

This was a difficult decision for us as a family, but we can honestly say that we have definitely made the right choice.

From the moment I did my first visit , it felt right. The staff were especially friendly and great to see how kind they were to the residents. I talked to some residents and family members and they spoke very highly of whats provided.
It was a heart rending decision to make but dad has settled in so
well and his quality of life has improved immensely
His room is lovely. He is well fed (being encouraged to have regular meals , drinks and snacks) which in return has improved his overall health as living at home we had virtually stopped eating.
I feel at ease knowing he is well looked after and he is safe.
Thank you to everyone associated with Oakdale care home.

The staff are very friendly and looked after my husband really well. He was not able to join in some activities due to poor eyesight, but they tried to find things for him to do - exercises, etc.
The food was usually very well presented, and staff were on hand to help if necessary.
His room was comfortable
and airy. The garden was well maintained and nice to sit out in on good days.

My mum is currently staying at Oakdale care home on respite. Her stay has been extended due to her general health and I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and kindness for our mum and their flexibility with our situation. Mums accommodation is spotlessly clean along with all communal areas.
There is always a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with all the residents and visitors. As a visitor I am made to feel welcome any time and to watch the staff with the resident they have a genuine affection and kind, patient attitude to all. I feel totally comfortable and reassured with my mum staying at Oakdale and highly recommend this establishment. Meal times are a joy to see! The food served is tasty, wholesome and plentiful. Oakdale have daily activities for residents, a visiting hairdresser, chiropodist, and GP if required. A sincere thank you to ALL the staff at Oakdale, YOURE WONDERFUL

Our family have been delighted with the care my mother in law has received. We have been so very impressed by the expertise of the staff. We can totally relax now, which we couldn't do previously. My husband went in for respite care and sadly has not been able to come out. I have found every member of staff from the manager, admin, nurses, cleaners and all the wonderful carers to be engaged, cheerful and attentive to his and my needs. It is a pleasure to visit. My mum has been at Creedy Care Home now for 12 years and she has received the best care that anyone could ask for their loved ones my mum has been none verbal now for a few years but all the staff that care for her understand when she is not her normal self or when she has been ill and in some cases
very poorly but because of the care she receives that is why she is still with us thankfully and all the staff are brilliant and friendly and easy to approach if I have any questions to ask and they always keep me informed of any changes to my mum which helps me understand her illness better i honestly believe the care that she receives is the reason she is still with us
