I really recommend Oakdale Care Home. Staff and management are all approachable and caring to relatives as well as being very kind and caring to the residents. Overall Experience

Oakdale was recommended to me for daycare by a work colleague whose mother is a resident.
I cannot fault the staff how they are with the residents and how accommodating the management are in people attending. Oakdale have been a god send to me as I work full time and was unable to leave my mum along

during the day. It was never too much trouble to ask at late notice. They always accommodated a space for mum.
Not only are all the staff lovely and kind to the residents they all seem happy amongst themselves and in their job which creates a really good feeling in the home.

I recommend Oakdale more than 100% and wholeheartedly thank them for being so amazing, kind and genuinely caring.

My dad was admitted to Acacia House on September 5th with complex nursing and care needs. It was a difficult time for us, very emotional and distressing. My father spent almost a month at Acacia House during the last few weeks of his life. He was terminal and deteriorating fast but I can honestly say that despite the circumstances, both my father and I were thoroughly pleased with the team, his room and his overall care. From the moment my father arrived

to the moment of his passing he was treated with dignity, respect and utmost care. The facilities are very clean and pleasant. The staff are patient and caring. They answered all of my questions and took the time to ensure I was kept in the loop with his treatment and medication. Overall, I am pleased with every aspect of his stay at Acacia House and would highly recommend it.

My dad moved from another care home into Creedy House. I had been unhappy with the previous home from lack of care and stimulation and activities. Also lack of full knowledge of Type 1 diabetes and the provision needed to care for my dad with diabetes and other age related illnesses. On arriving at

Creedy House my family and dad were made very welcome and reassured of care and understanding of his needs. I was finally content to elae my dad in a professional setting and care of others. My dad passed 3 weeks after arriving and was happy he had moved and given the respect and care at the end of his life.

I recently went to a garden fete at Oakdale, and it was great. So well organised, residents and visitors were really looked after. There was a delicious BBQ, all the drinks you wanted. Entertainment, raffles, lucky dip etc., was all good fun. The staff worked so hard - nothing too much trouble, they

were on hand to care for all residents - and visitors! Well organised, well done!

Creedy House is a superb, well presented nursing/care home. The manager is so hands on and devoted to her residents and likewise her staff. My mother and my father were very comfortable here. My mum always looks happy and well cared for, and the staff are friendly, caring and well trained. Mum settled in really quickly, enjoys all the varied activities on offer, and she never asks to go home. The staff also know my dad and family well from our visits, and they include us in decision-making

Overall Experience

Our aunt stayed for three weeks and said that she had found her stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely to be around, they made her feel very welcome.
Her room had en-suite facilities and meant she was able to continue her independence at all times.
The food was very good

and a continuous supply of tea, biscuits and cake.
Before the stay our aunt was very negative about staying but has now said that she would definitely stay there again if she ever needed to.

Overall Experience

I found the staff to be cheerful and professional. On the rare occasions I wanted to discuss any subject ranging from obtaining equipment to food requirements both the nursing staff and senior management were approachable and responsive.
When Dad had bouts of illness the staff communicated well and

responded quickly to the situation.
Dad's room was bright and airy and he settled in very quickly, forming a good bond with the staff. He found much happiness in his final few months and the family are grateful for the staff for making that possible.
