I have been overwhemled with the care & gentleness with my husband. He's young & everyone has treated him with love & care, even when he's been challanging. I could not wish for a nicer warm welcoming home, from the staff that clean the rooms, to the chefs + care staff + nursing staff + activities staff. They are kind to me + make me feel so welcome, I am just so grateful that my husband is living here + I have no worries regarding this. It takes a special person to do this work + I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. I go home after seeing him smiling.

The home looks after their patients extremly well and very caring, they also look after visitors to their patients with just as much care and support.

I saw good and bad practice during my husband's stay at Princess Christian. My main concern was the amount of time the carers spent on their mobile phones. Many residents had cold food as there was a lack of staff. However, there were some real 'stars' at Princess Christian. Christine, Resident Liaison. Patricia (English speaking) on reception. Brenda, food and drink. Alisha, RGN. The above staff did everything to enhance my husband's stay at Princess Christian.

The staff and carers went above and beyond when looking after my husband. We felt very comfortable leaving him in their care. He was treated with humility and compassion, as if he was one of their own family. Alisha was particularly helpful and ensured the family were fully informed of his progress and took time to explain what was needed and why. All the activities that were laid on for the residents and their families were exceptional, and made everyone feel included. It really is like one big family environment, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank-you xxx

My mum had been at this home for approximately 11 months. The care my mum has received is exceptional from all the staff. Mum's overall health has improved and I am very happy that my mum is being cared for by Princess Christian.

My husband came to Princess Christian care home in June, transferring from a home which sadly fell well short of my expectations of his care. Since he has been here he has joined in with activities which is lovely for my family to see.

The Princess Christian Care Home cared for my brother for a year and a half. For the whole time he was there he was treated with total care and respect and made his last year and a half totally dignified. For this they will always have my gratitude. The Staff are lovely, caring and kind. My mum has unique needs and they adapt to her brilliantly, they can also read her moods and ajust the care to keep her as happy as possible. My uncle is very happy being waited on hand and foot and sits contentedly in front of the TV. The gardens are awesome special shout to the food, particularly cakes

My mother spent her last couple of months at the Princess Christian. She could be quite tricky, but the staff got to know her and addressed any concerns she had. They were kind to my sister and I and kept us informed of any health issues. She was always well cared for

Mum's stay here was always treated with the utmost care, attention and dignity. We really couldn't have found a better place for her to be cared for. Thank you all so much.

Throughout my disabled wife's stay she was treated as a person, in a dignified and fully supportive manner. Being non-verbal, the staff adapted how they communicated with her and always ensured she understood and agreed with everything. From head office to the centre managers to the carers to the cleaning staff, everybody was very welcoming from day one. I would certainly recommend them and cannot thank them enough.

I've had experience with care homes for 3 other family members and again to have found PCCH Knaphill has been an true blessing

What I would like more of is communication around Mums mental health and how she is progressing with her mental health rather than being told she is "fine". Knowing the progression of her dementia would help greatly when seeing her deterioration.

We are so grateful to all the staff at Princess Christian for looking after our mother with such kindness and care.

From the first day, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and, above all, kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt that our mother was brilliantly looked after by staff who really cared.

When it was suggested that my husband might benefit from two weeks respite care, we were both filled with fear and misery, but we need not have worried. He received exceptional kindness, care and professionalism and the two weeks passed in a flash. Although his health has not materially improved, he has experienced a wonderful break, meeting new nurses, carers and other patients which will no doubt contribute to improved mental health for some time to come.

Princess Christian is unique not only in its impeccably high standards of care but the way everyone is cared for with dignity, respect and compassion. The management is inspirational, and the home runs like clockwork. The imagination and enthusiasm of the wellbeing team is amazing. The home is immaculate and well maintained. The food is incredible, especially for residents on modified diets. I cannot praise the nursing team enough for their high standards and values.

Dad's end of life care was managed really well with compassion right up the end.

When we visited we were aware that there were a lot more things Dad could have been involved in had he had been able to, but unfortunately his illness meant this was not the case, shame as everyone taking part seemed to be enjoying it.
