Thank you for your review and I completely agree with you, training is so very important for our teams and we have a continuous training plan to help support the knowledge and practice of caring for all people including those living with a Dementia. Getting to know people is vital and understanding individuals in our care and what may help distract and alleviate negativity is very important. We will review the training provided to ensure this continues to provide our staff understanding and work with the team to deal with any gaps in knowledge and practice. Thank you for your feedback which helps us to review and ensure our service remains positive and effective.

Thank you for taking the time to review our service and for your views of the staff team. I will share your comments of food and catering with our Head Chef, who has not been with us that long, but is very keen to create menu's and dishes that include all tastes and nutrition requirements and I know is talking to people in our care already. Good oral health is crucial to peoples health and well-being, and we will review this element of our care to ensure we are doing all we can, thank you for feeding back to us.

Thank you , this is invaluable feedback both for the staff team but also potential families and friends. Residents often join our homes as a result of some decline , the staff manage the transition with patience , empathy and compassion, they include and support families too. After a little time as relationships develop the resident trusts the new environment and staff so their overall wellbeing improves. This has clearly been the case and we all couldn't be happier to know that she is now content and happy in her new home.
