Mum transferred to St Winifred's from another care home yesterday. She has been made to feel very welcome and nothing has been too much trouble to make us all feel welcome. I have visited today and she seems very settled and has eaten more lunch today than I've seen her eat in a long time. I feel very
reassured she is going to be very happy here.
Reply from tracy wright, Home Manager at St Winifreds Care CentreThank you so much for your wonderful feedback. It was a great pleasure to be able to support mum in moving into St Winifreds. We are so pleased that she is settling in well and enjoying the meals here. Your review which will help future enquirers when making their decisions regarding care needs and services.

My husband has settled well, and when I visit him he is always dressed appropriately for the whatever season it is, I have noticed a clear improvement, of his social skills and his temperament, when he does get confused, the staff are clear and patient to help assist his needs and reassures him, whenever
I have a concern the Nurse's, are able to clarify anything I am unsure about, nothing is too much trouble.
I feel happy knowing my loved one us safe, and well looked after.

My brother and I are so pleased that Dad is settled at St Winifred's, we feel very lucky to have found such a warm, caring home for him to stay. Dad has been at St Winifred's for over 18 months and throughout that time we have been so impressed with the care he has received. Tracy and Nisha create
a really happy team environment, and are really great at keeping in touch with us about Dad and very responsive to any requests. The nurses and carers are so friendly and professional, it is very heart-warming to know Dad is being looked after by such kind people. We recently stayed to have lunch with Dad, he really enjoys sharing a meal with us, and everyone was lovely, and Pippa and Chef James looked after us so well and provided a delicious meal.
Reply from tracy wright, Home Manager at St Winifreds Care CentreThank you for the wonderful feedback given appraising the home and the service that staff give to support your Dad, it is greatly appreciated. It is a pleasure to support your Dad here at St Winifreds. I met you on the day you came for lunch and there was a lot of smiles and laughter during your visit. We will pass on your feedback to all staff teams and share the positivity of your visit with them - thank you!
Please let us know if there is anything else we can improve.

My husband was transferred from hospital to the care home in May and was received with professional care, very kind and friendly. He is still at the care home and staff are still very attentive and caring. A lovely place to be taken care of. When I leave my husband to go home, I leave knowing he will
be looked after.
Reply from Tracy Wright, Home Manager at St Winifreds Care CentreThank you very much for your wonderful review, it is so valuable to collect your thoughts and it helps others who maybe looking for a care facility which as I am sure you can recall can be a stressful time.

Mum spent a month at Woodstock on respite care after a hospital stay. It's the best decision we could have made as she was looked after extremely well by all the staff and we were confident that she was safe and happy at all times. A big big thank you for taking such good care of mum and for making

St Winifred is a lovely, homely nursing home. The staff are fantastic, Victoria, Tina, and Heather, who plan activities, are so professional; it's lovely to see how the residents really enjoy the activities. Sheila my auntie, has enjoyed all activities whilst being there so little time. The nurses Sheeja,
Salma, and Ria are also great at what they do. The carers - Dil John and all the others are great with all the residents' care. Management, Tracy + Nisha are great for any problems we have and can talk to them anytime. Lovely home.

Mum is cared for well and all her needs are met she struggles to eat the food she is given sometimes but I've relayed this and she is being monitored now at mealtimes most of the time.
Her clothes are still a bit of an issue as in she dressed in clothes other than her own on occasions.

We found Abbotsleigh by chance when my wife was discharged there from hospital. We had intended to move her to a home closer to where we live, but our experience of Abbotsleigh has been so good that she is now a permanent resident. The building is in a country setting and is light and airy, the staff
could not be more friendly, helpful and attentive to her needs and the food is excellent. We have complete confidence that she is well cared for.
