My wife was admitted in May 2025 and has wonderful care ever since. The staff go the extra mile to care for residents. This is of tremendous relief and help to the families.

I have been staying at Abbotsleigh Care Home for the past 3 months. When I first arrived here my mobility and balance were poor. I lacked confidence and was very anxious and stressed. During my stay here I have been shown nothing but kindness and support from all members of staff. Food on the while
is good but not always to my taste. They have a lovely garden with large seating area which is used a lot in warmer weather. My stay here has given me time and space to reflect and reassess my life and priorities and confidence to return back home.
Reply from Alina Abagiu, Registered Manager at Abbotsleigh Care CentreThank you so much, for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are so pleased to hear that you felt supported and cared for during your stay at Abbotsleigh, and that your confidence grew over time. It was a pleasure to have you with us. We wish you all the very best now that you are back home, and hope the future brings you happiness, health, and continued confidence.

I can't thank the staff enough, especially Sreeja, for looking after mum so well. Mum was on a 3 bed pathway for respite and rehabilitation after a 6 week stay in hospital. Unfortunately, mum's health took a nosedive and she declined rapidly and in less than two weeks of her stay, she passed away.
The managers and nurses were always extremely helpful and wonderfully caring, not just towards mum but towards me and my family too.
Abbotsleigh itself is set in a beautifully peaceful rural location surrounded by trees, flora and fauna. A wonderful place.
Reply from Alina Abagiu, Operations and Compliance Manager at Abbotsleigh Care CentreThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. We are truly sorry for your loss, but it means a great deal to know your mum was cared for with compassion and dignity during her time with us. I will be sure to pass on your special thanks to Sreeja and the team. Our thoughts remain with you and your family.

We were so lucky to find and have St Winifreds to care for my grandfather for the last 6 months of his life. The care provided at every stage was faultless, with the staff all having such genuine warmth and empathy towards the residents as well as to us as a family as well. We will never forget and
always be grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to my grandfather and us all. I would recommend St Winifreds highly, especially for nursing care, and the wonderful staff do just make it the place that it is. Thank you for the huge difference you all made to a very significant and difficult period of my family's lives.
Reply from Alison Ruddock, Operations & Compliance Manager at St Winifreds Care CentreHi, Please accept my deepest condolences and than you for the priviledge of caring for your grandfather. Such lovely feedback and I am so grateful that you shared your thoughts as it helps those looking to choose a home for their family members confidence in our service. Kind regards, Alison

Dad has been at Woodstock for a couple of years now. He knows the building well as his father helped build the original house. This means that Dad had a connection to the place from the start. He is very aware of things and his dementia is very mild, but he also has mobility issues and short term memory
is very poor. He found the transition to a home very hard and resisted the move. However, he was treated with kindness and dignity from the outset. The staff are all, without exception, amazing. I am unable to visit as often as I would wish as I live many hours away. However, I know that Dad is in the best possible place, receiving top class care. All the staff (handpicked for their qualities I feel certain) are helpful, kind, hardworking and amazingly supportive to their residents. This Care home is well run from every aspect. There is plenty to keep the residents active and entertained. Best Care home EVER!!!
Reply from Alina Abagiu, Operations & Compliance Manager at Woodstock Care CentreThank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear how well your dad has settled at Woodstock and that the team's kindness and support have made such a positive difference. Your reassurance and trust mean a great deal to us, and your kind words will be truly appreciated by the whole team.

I visited the Care Centre, initially to assess whether it would be suitable for a trial stay, for my father. The welcome was so warm and positive that I recommended it to my father. The building and grounds have a pleasant , country cottage atmosphere. The staff are attentive and professional. After
the first 2 weeks we have concluded that it is the right location for my father and are pleased to have made it his permanent new home. This is the beginning of his residence and so far he has not had the possibility of experiencing the full range of the care and facilities.
If there was one thing I would change to improve the ambience it would be to replace the resident call alert with a bleep or pager.
Reply from Diana Serban, Registered Manager at Loose Valley Care CentreThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and your father felt so welcome and that he is settling well into his new home. Your kind words about the building, grounds, and our staff are greatly appreciated and will be shared with the Loose Valley team. Thank you again for your thoughtful review.

My mother resided at Hengistfield for over three years. During this time, the care she received was outstanding. The excellent and friendly staff always treated her with kindness, respect and dignity. Nothing was too much for them in order to meet her needs.
The gardens and social areas are welcoming.
There are activities and social events for those wishing to mingle. As a family we always felt welcome and any worries or questions we had were dealt with in a timely, professional manner.
We can't thank the Hengistfield staff enough for taking such great care of our precious and much loved mum.
Reply from Silvia Barret, Operations & Compliance Manager at Hengist Field Care CentreThank you so much for taking the time to share these kind words. It truly means a great deal to our whole team. We feel privileged to have cared for your mum over the past three years, and it's wonderful to know that you felt supported, welcomed, and reassured throughout her stay. Our staff are dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centred care, and your message is a heartfelt reminder of why we do what we do. We're delighted that the atmosphere, gardens, and social activities contributed positively to her time with us, and that you always felt comfortable approaching us with any questions or concerns. On behalf of everyone at Hengist Field, thank you for making us feel valued. It was an honor to look after your precious mum.

My mother was admitted to Lukestone as a resident in December and was treated with dignity, love and respect by all the staff. They understood her needs and brought out her wicked sense of humour. The care home manager was amazing at assessing her needs and our whole family wish to thank him. Thank

My father's care at Lukestone was above and beyond what we could have wished for. The compassion, dignity and interaction that was showered upon him was just lovely to see and as a family it made it much easier to know that when we left for the day/night he was in such good hands and he would be above
all, safe. As a family we were also showered with kindness and offered and supplied endless cups of teas/coffees & food, the list is endless, we were kept informed all through our dads care. The team members, carers, nurses, all who contribute to the care of Lukestone's residents, should be applauded for their compassion towards their residents who are in a vulnerable state, this compassion which is at the forefront helps the family so much, they talk to the residents with dignity and treat them as their own family members, how ever much time we have with our loved ones, Lukestone gave our father respect and that's all we all really wanted, hoped for and received. Thank you all.
