Mum has been in and out of hospital since moving to the care home. She is now settling well. Staff are excellent. All her care needs are well met. Mum tells me today, she is happy here.

My dad has recently needed residential care due to dementia and other health conditions. From the moment he arrived at Kenroyal the manager and all the staff have made us feel at ease. This has been a massive decision that we as a family have had to make and we have been made to feel supported every step of the way. No questions ever seems to much to ask and everyone is always very polite and treat my dad with dignity and care. Thank you Kenroyal.

Kenroyal is a very caring environment. I trust the staff to treat my mother with dignity and kindness and can see in the way the staff interact with my mother and the residents that they are valued and professional in their roles. The manager is excellent and has high expectations of her staff and is very knowledgeable about dementia care.

My Dad spent almost 3 years in this wonderful Home following a devastating stroke that was simply life changing for him. His care in Ken Royal was absolutely perfect at all times. No matter what time of day I attended to visit, he was always clean, freshly dressed and comfortable. He was freshly shaved at all times, something that was important to him. He sadly had no ability to talk following his stroke but the carers always took their time to try and meet his needs regardless. The respect they have for their residents is just amazing. I witnessed it whenever I came with all the other residents too.

Will always recommend Ken Royal as a fantastic Nursing Home.

Choosing a care home is never easy, but Kenroyal made it the right choice. We are deeply grateful for everything they did for our uncle, right to the end.

My mum was very well looked after during her time in Kenroyal. The staff superb and all very caring. Mum enjoyed all the activities provided and loved to sing and dance. Mum was treated with dignity during her final hours. It was always reassuring to know that Mum was safe and cared for. Again - staff and management alike were wonderful.

On all my monthly visits the staff I met, without exception, treated me with respect and dignity. I was asked if I knew the way to my friend's room. I was often asked if I would like a drink. My resident friend, despite sometimes being a little obstreperous, was also treated respectfully and dealt with in a dignified way. Over time I got to know the manager. She took a personal interest in my friend (and very possibly, I think, every resident). She always greeted and treated me with kind deference.

The owner, greeted us on our arrival so genuine and caring, I am so impressed on this well run establishment.

The staff are always ready to help, polite and provide a drink. My wife has been in other care homes but here she is happy, well cared for, this is the best care home and our son and daughter agree with this.

Always cheerful and helpful. Mum has very advanced Alzheimer's and is always made comfortable, safe and warm. No worries about the care and the manager and the team demonstrate their compassion and care daily.

Since my father has been at the Kenroyal, roughly 2020 to present date, I have only good things to say. The home is so friendly and run in such a professional way by the manager. The care is amazing my dad receives. The staff are simply brilliant! Nothing is too much trouble. We are always assured he is in safe hands and well looked after.

My mother has settled down very well. She is less agitated as the carers are always around and my mother is never left alone. The staff are very friendly and answer our concerns in a professional manner. Overall very happy with the care my mother has been provided.

Since my mum arrived at Kenroyal 10 months ago she has been treated with dignity and care. We have all been welcomed into the Kenroyal family. The staff are very attentive and treat each resident as an individual. Mum often comments on the lovely food when I ask her and says that she is pleased she doesn't have to prepare it herself anymore. When we leave after a visit we feel that we are leaving her in very safe and caring hands.

My father has been a resident at Kenroyal for just say 3 years. I have nothing but praise for the staff and management of the home. My father is well cared for and other is a genuine sense of community within the home itself. Despite his cognitive issues he gets on well with the staff and seems content. As visitors, my brother and I are always welcomed, offered refreshments and updated on any issues with Dad. We're very secure in the knowledge that he is being well cared for.

My mother has been a resident for some years now. From the first day until now she has always had the best of care at all times. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is first class and drinks are always at the resident's tables. Communication has been excellent throughout the years. An excellent run home.

My mother was a resident of Kenroyal Nursing & Residential Care Home for nearly 4 years until she passed away on the 7th of September 2023. Throughout that time I have nothing but praise for the home. Under the manager it was always a pleasure to visit, she was always well cared for, clean and comfortable. She passed away suddenly before I could reach her but the manager and her team were with her and were wonderful as always.

The staff are always very welcoming. The care my mum gets is excellent, cannot find fault with the home at all. It's a lovely place to be in.

My dad was unwell for the last couple of months and has been treated very well by staff and nurses. Always called me at the right time to take the right direction. The staff are so kind and polite with everyone. My dad has been here for the last 4 years and had really good care, never had any issues. I prefer to keep him here.
