It's just like home

My mother was well cared for in a clean, safe environment. She's not the easiest person to deal with but the staff were patient and professional. My mother has many medical needs, and all of these were catered for by the nursing staff, carers and caterers. Her condition has since improved and she has been discharged. I cannot praise this care home enough, they are kind, caring and professional. Thank you very much.

I cannot praise the Eaton Lodge team enough

Despite them obviously being busy, we were always asked if we wanted tea or coffee etc. Also lunch if there at that time.

Fantastic team who provided such heart warming care

As our mum has been a resident for over 11 years we are very pleased with her care and attention she is receiving. We would recommend this lovely care home to anyone.

Overall the care is excellent. The manager and staff are excellent, nothing is too much bother for anyone. Always greeted with a smile. Would recommend too everyone.

The STAFF ARE AMAZING they are very friendly and Polite always Bringing Tea for our visitors.

The home was always well staffed, but my father didn't always understand them. They should wear name badges Compared to the home he was in previously, I found it dark and uninspiring. No pets were allowed to visit which is totally unbelievable in this day as they are known for helping peoples wellbeing. My father loved my dog and asked about him every visit and missed seeing him terribly I would not recommend this home to a friend

Mum has been in and out of hospital since moving to the care home. She is now settling well. Staff are excellent. All her care needs are well met. Mum tells me today, she is happy here.

My dad has recently needed residential care due to dementia and other health conditions. From the moment he arrived at Kenroyal the manager and all the staff have made us feel at ease. This has been a massive decision that we as a family have had to make and we have been made to feel supported every step of the way. No questions ever seems to much to ask and everyone is always very polite and treat my dad with dignity and care. Thank you Kenroyal.

Kenroyal is a very caring environment. I trust the staff to treat my mother with dignity and kindness and can see in the way the staff interact with my mother and the residents that they are valued and professional in their roles. The manager is excellent and has high expectations of her staff and is very knowledgeable about dementia care.

I am very pleased with the way the home is run, Ray seems to have settled nicely now, he says he likes the food. The cleanliness is fine, we have to take into consideration that it is a very old building. The staff always seem very caring to the patients.

My Dad spent almost 3 years in this wonderful Home following a devastating stroke that was simply life changing for him. His care in Ken Royal was absolutely perfect at all times. No matter what time of day I attended to visit, he was always clean, freshly dressed and comfortable. He was freshly shaved at all times, something that was important to him. He sadly had no ability to talk following his stroke but the carers always took their time to try and meet his needs regardless. The respect they have for their residents is just amazing. I witnessed it whenever I came with all the other residents too.

Choosing a care home is never easy, but Kenroyal made it the right choice. We are deeply grateful for everything they did for our uncle, right to the end.

My aunt likes the staff and says she is lucky to be cared for so well.

My mum also says how much she likes it there and how lucky she feels to be there which gives me peace of mind.

Mum is very well cared for, the team are excellent, and she has settled well at Highfield. Some areas of the premises are a little tired, but a re-furb appears to be underway.

The staff and facilities are excellent. They have made my mother very comfortable and looked after her needs with kindness and efficiency.
