Following your report, a thorough internal review was conducted, and the findings have been submitted to our safeguarding team for further evaluation. We understand that the decision to move your father from our service was primarily to be closer to his wife, your step-mum. We respect and support your family's choice, as we know how important proximity and emotional support are during times of care and recovery. Your father was admitted to our facility under the Discharge to Assess (D2A) pilot scheme, and during his stay, we aimed to provide the highest standard of care. We were pleased to receive positive feedback from your family throughout his time with us. Your regular engagement with the unit manager helped us ensure that your fathers needs were being met and that any concerns were addressed promptly.
