Excellent care home with excellent staff. There have been notable improvements since taking residency here. There was a reluctance to move from the previous provider but this was due to a general fear of change. In hindsight it would have been better to move here sooner. We are very pleased with the
care provided and the approach taken by all the staff.

My son is very happy in his safe secure, cosy home at Marlborough Lodge. He is always treated with respect and dignity by the staff. The home is exceptionally well run. He is perfectly matched with her key worker, who has worked miracles with my sons challenging behaviours using love, respect and fun
to build trust. I feel reassured knowing he in such a caring and supportive environment and I'm truly grateful to all the staff for the difference they've made to his life.

Visited Rookhurst in December to see my sister, the staff are always so friendly, welcoming and supportive, my sister is very happy there. The facilities are very homely and the residents are often downstairs together dwelling and spending time.

Since my son has lived here at Rookhurst, he has come along and gained confidence and self-help skills. He has just finished a college course, which he has enjoyed very much, I'm so proud of him. Staff are very friendly and helpful to the service users, and their families, it's a family environment,
which is so lovely. If anyone is looking for a relative, I would recommend this beautiful home.

My son has lived at Marlborough Lodge for many years now and is totally secure and content thanks to the compassionate and caring work of the care team under the direction of a superb manager. He is supported at all times to fulfil his commitments outside the home with other organisations, and also
sporting venues in order to maintain his fitness, all of which are very important to him.
It is fair to say that previous home placements have sadly broken down after a year or two and it is so heartwarming to know that my son now experiences a level of care seemingly available in only a small number of establishments, for which his family are immensely grateful. I have no hesitation in identifying Marlborough Lodge as an outstanding example of care coupled with compassion and kindness.

My uncle, who resides here, is, without a doubt, looked after to the highest degree and level of care here. Everyone is so warm, attentive and kind, making sure he is comfortable and happy, but also caring and understanding what is best for him personally and what gives him the most joy out of the everyday.
I know he is in the safest of hands, and we trust them completely.

My uncle has been living at Rockhurst for a few months now and he loves it. He enjoys all the coming and going and there always seems to be an activity going on. It is a home-from-home. He also gets along with all staff and residents.

A very happy place. Had gone to a lot of trouble to arrange a surprise 50th Birthday party for a resident.
Welcoming and friendly. Other residents felt able to mingle/take part in the party and it was good to get to know them.
