The manager took the time to explain the funding system to us which is more than many others did. The hospice care system was working in Exmouth too, planning out what they could do for my husband and the family, which is more than other areas seem able to offer at the moment.

The staff have organised activities and trips out which have kept her busy and entertained, always aware of the things that would make her happy. We have also been amazed by the high quality of the meals provided, which we are sure has contributed to keeping up our cousin's strength over the years. We have found on our frequent visits that the staff have been very friendly and supportive towards us as well, and have included us in some of their decisions about the care our cousin receives. Their humour and committment is never-ending. It's an excellent care home.

in Linksway, I never had any cause for concern. The care she received was excellent and the family never had any worries about her. She wasn’t the easiest of residents, yet was cared for with love and affection, making her final years far more comfortable than they might have been. The home was always clean and never smelly. We were always consulted about any changes to her care and kept up to date with her health status. She was able to have her own photos and pictures up in her room and the staff actively sought information about her, her past and the family to enhance her care. We are deeply grateful to them all for making her final years comfortable and as happy as they could be. I can't recommend Linksway highly enough.

6 weeks or so, the house is always clean and tidy, and we know she is looked after giving us peace of mind.

any significant movements but despite this and a true reflection of the excellent nursing care she received, she never developed a pressure sore. The staff always kept us up to date re any intercurrent illnesses and doctors visits and would spend time with her talking about the family, her life and her travels etc.
In her final illness when we arrived to be with her it was so reassuring to find one of the nurses sitting with her, and again when we returned after supper - she was never left on her own.
I have no hesitation in recommending Linksway. The rooms are variable as it is not purpose-built but the nursing care supersedes any limitations.

We too were respected as a family alongside our dad. This home is completely recommended by us. We live over 100 miles away but we were kept informed and always given kindness on our phone enquiries.
