My friend spent 11 years at Dove Court. She was beautifully looked after with kindness, skills and lots of fun! Trips out to the sea, coffee and picnics. She was given a new lease of life, whilst she was able to enjoy everything. As she became more poorly, the staff knew her so well, they were able
to look after her with compassion and skill... In the last 3 days of her life, the palliative care given to her by the Dove Court staff and the district nursing team was first class. She died peacefully and was given respect and dignity.

Visiting my mother here at Arcot House is such a reassuring experience. Staff take the trouble to really get to know my mother and to welcome me to be part of her ongoing care.
Staff are professional and caring; efficient yet compassionate; always punctual to treat people with humour and patience.

I regularly volunteer at Arcot house supporting there activities team with reading, puzzles and games. The staff are excellent with all the residents, the premises is always spotless and the food that the residents and myself have been served is exceptional.

An elderly friend of the family was taken in on respite reluctantly on his behalf I might add, I let him settle in for a few days then visited from the friendly greeting/signing in then through the well maintained and nice smelling home to where he was engaged in games and music with fellow residents
I was really impressed and surprised that his whole idea of a carehome had changed and he was participating and enjoying his time there after being offered and taking refreshments I talked to staff and was very impressed.

My mother in law, Janno, has now been at Arcot House for over a year and has settled in really well. This is despite being unhappy in her previous 2 care homes, where she could not settle. The home is a beautiful, Grade 2 listed building and nicely decorated. Nothing is too much effort for the staff.
All are caring, friendly and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending Arcot House to anyone.

I come here every month and find the staff, the food, the atmosphere, and the care second to none. Cleanliness is also first class and the residents are happy and extremely well looked after. This really is a care home second to none, that must rate the highest of its kind. Extremely well run and managed.
