I am perfectly happy that my wife, Ann, seems happy and content in her surroundings.
The nature of her condition means she is only aware of her situation in a very limited timeframe,, This is herd to bear but inevitable. She has made friends and seems to be well liked by the carers who do an excellent job with empathy and compassion.
I would not wish her to be anywhere else.
Thank you all of you

Mike

It is always a pleasure to visit my Dad at Wishmore with the friendly welcome at the door by every member of the team.
My Dad loves his new home and has commented on how they are like a family. He loves the food too and tells me he's enjoyed. When taking Dad out and returning he is always happy to return. This means so much to me that Dad loves where he lives.
The support that all the Wishmore team have given me and my Dad is above and beyond all their duties.
My Dad was a flight risk and escaped twice out of his previous care home. The team have supported me to feel confident taking him out every visit. They have supported me in reintroducing my husband after my Dad sadly attacked him due to his psychotic episode's with his dementia when he was living at home. I never thought any of this would be possible. They were so supportive when my Dad was in hospital. My Dads quality of life with all the trips out individually tailored to him has made him so happy.

Thank you team Wishmore

My mom has been in Blossom house since 2022. As her dementia progresses, they have been there for her every step of the way, adapting the help and support she needs with respect and kindness. For my mom and for us, Blossom house feels like a home, not an institution. Living abroad, I can certainly see she feels safe and happy here, this has allowed me to simply enjoy my time with mom when I come over, precious moments thanks to the dedicated and caring team of staff. They make this place special, I highly recommend it.

My uncle has been a resident at Blossom House Care Home for some time now, and I can honestly say the care and kindness he receives is exceptional. The staff are so warm and welcoming - you can immediately tell this is a home where people genuinely care. The staff have taken time to understand my uncle's needs, routines and preferences, and it really shows in the way they interact with him. My uncle can be quiet by nature, but they've helped him settle in beautifully and brought back his smile.
Communication with families is also excellent - they're always quick to update me and genuinely care about involving me in his wellbeing.
Knowing my uncle is in such safe

hands gives me total peace of mind. If you're looking for somewhere that truly cares, not just somewhere that provides care, I'd recommend Blossom House without hesitation.

My mother-in-law has received excellent care at Blossom House. All the staff are caring, patient and committed to the residents in their care. All the residents are encouraged to participate in the many activities that are provided for them and there are regular trips outside of the care home to cater for everyone's interests.

My Mum who has Alzheimer's has been a resident at Wishmoor for 6 months now. I have been extremely reassured by the high level of care Mum receives and the abundance of activities and day trips she has been involved in. I feel a close connection to many staff members who welcome us wholeheartedly when we visit. I am kept informed and up to date with Mum's progress with emails, and following the Wishmoor social media page which shows photos of Mum involved in various activities and outings. I visit regularly and the atmosphere is relaxed, homely and colourful. The conservatory and gardens are a real bonus. The food is also very good which Mum enjoys and thrives on. The home is kept clean, bright and airy, I have absolutely no concerns about Mum's care at Wishmoor everything is run in a professional manner with an authentic charm that is hard to find these days.

So pleased I moved my mum to Blossom House from her previous care home. The staff really care about each individual resident's needs and interests and support each other, as a team. They treat my mum so kindly and make her feel safe and make a fantastic effort to keep her engaged and involved in all the numerous activities that take place. The environment and respect for each resident is brilliant and genuine, and they listen to residents and families to ensure that they can provide the best care. Well done Blossom House!

A well run and caring home in which our mother has resided for the past two years. The staff are experienced and dedicated, the building although old is in good order and our mother's room in particular has beautiful views of the Malvern Hills. The food is good, with a very knowledgeable cook who goes above and beyond her duties. Altogether a care home to be recommended.

My father-in-law has only been in the home since mid-December but I was very impressed from day 1 with the level of professionalism of the staff. After a couple of weeks, he seemed to be settling in fine, and the kindness and courtesy which he receives from everyone involved in his care is second to none. There seem to be plenty of activities for the residents to take part in if they so wish, and as my father-in-law was admitted during December he got to go to the Christmas and New Years parties.

Cannot thank Wishmoor enough for their kindness and care with my Mum. The home has a homely welcoming environment. You can tell the genuine care and love from the staff in what they do which is hard to come by now.
There are always activities or something going on with the residents they do go above and beyond. I feel comfortable when leaving a visit knowing that Mum is looked after and cared for.
Mum is in an unusual situation as she is one of the younger residents but the staff makes sure she is treated as an individual and her care is completely person-centred. Mum is looking to do swimming and other activities she enjoys all organised from the home. Also helping mum see her husband weekly by going in the taxi with her.

All of Mum's family are extremely grateful to Wishmoor staff for the love they have shown in a very difficult time it's made such a difference. And hasn't gone unseen from us, thank you.

I visited my father for Father's Day and witnessed the staff going around each resident that is a father giving them each a nicely presented present and of the care and attention they gave to each one. I was very impressed at the level of genuine support they gave to each, it moved me to see it.

My dad, who has been a resident at Blossom House for over eighteen months, was resident of the week. Myself and family were invited to join Dad for lunch. What a fab experience. Dad had chosen his favourite lunch and we all had a lovely home.

All your care staff and office staff are exemplary and treat my dad like a king. They often refer to him by a nickname which is adorable. One member of staff leads his team exceptionally and is always available to chat to us about Dad. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

Mum has resided at Blossom House for over two years and I've been impressed by the way the team have patiently dealt with the issues resulting from her advanced dementia. All credit to the management team, who are focused on delivering the best possible environment by way of personalized care with a dedicated staff that, in my opinion, embrace the residents as family. The care team are exceptional and it was no surprise to see a senior member winning the Dementia Carer Award in Worcestershire's 2023 Health and Social Care awards. The variety of activities, again centred on the person, is first class and you cannot fail to be touched by the happy smiles of the residents pictured on the home's social media page. Well done!

I couldn't be happier with the care my dad is receiving since he moved in at the end of last year. He is clearly well cared for. The staff are all amazing including the kitchen and cleaning staff and have all made a point of making us as family members feel welcome.
They have made an effort to get to know his likes and dislikes and he is regularly involved in activities he enjoys.
The staff team are quick to manage any medical needs and keeps in touch with us.

I feel able to relax confident in the care he is receiving from the amazing team at Wishmoor.

Review of Blossom House from Ralph J (Son-in-law of Resident) published on 7 December 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I have a lot of experience working in care homes, and should I ever feel the need to check into one, Blossom House would be high on the list. The Care staff are exceptional, hard-working, and attentive. The entertainment is the best I have encountered anywhere, by a big margin.

My father-in-law has visited the Morgan Museum, has swimming sessions once a fortnight, has been out to the seaside, and garden centre, plus much more. Something nice seems to happen at least once a week, and it's something that can easily be overlooked, as the member of staff just quietly goes about doing stuff without any fuss.

My father-in-law is happy, and well cared for and I could not be happier with the way things have turned out for him. My only criticism is gaining entry to the home. Sometimes the doorbell is set too quietly for the carers to hear, and it does seem to be the job of the carers to answer the door, along with the mountains of other stuff they have to do.
