My son became a resident at Meadow View in 2022. The staff are all amazing with him, he has complex needs but nothing fazes the staff. He used to be a little withdrawn with new people, but the welcome he got put us at ease.
He has his own room , which is kept immaculate.
The manager goes above
and beyond in this nursing home, she's a bundle of energy that seems to be infectious, everyone around her seems to be happy
The atmosphere is great, no matter what time of day/month/year you visit, we're always made welcome
Can't praise this home enough
Reply from Paula Carr, Operations Manager at Meadowview

It means a great deal to know that our team has helped him feel comfortable and welcomed, especially given his complex needs. We're proud of the care environment we've created, and it's wonderful to hear that the atmosphere, cleanliness, and energy from the team-especially the manager-have made such a positive impression.Your son has added to the happiness of the home with his warmth and with his endearing nature, he is a valued member of our Meadowview family.Your feedback will be shared with the staff, and I know it will mean the world to them. This nursing home has the most caring understanding staff I have ever met, nothing is too much trouble at any time. The manager does an amazing job of running the bungalows and making sure everything runs perfectly. This she does with ease and quality, the staff in my sister's bungalow are all amazing
not to mention the nurse, again nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend these Bungalows to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one. My sister likes to go out for coffee and cake every day and members of staff go with her for a walk and coffee which she enjoys, she has her own lovely bedroom. I would recommend this residence to anyone wanting good care for a loved one.

Amberley is a small but excellent nursing home. My sister has been cared for there for almost 2 years now. Nursing care excellent. All staff are very kind and caring towards the residents, going above and beyond, making an excellent team. An amazing sensory area was created recently and decorated for
Christmas with a big wall covering of a homely fireplace with lights and Christmas decorations.
Always superbly clean and fresh. Bright and cheerful environment with big windows in lounge with a piano as well as TV. Rooms are not en-suite, but a good size. Food is excellent. Entertainment and planned activities are now timetabled for all to see, including choir visits, pet therapy, visiting panto, coffee mornings and some local outings. Warm family atmosphere. Priceless.

My brother has been in this care home for just over a year, I was very appreciative about him going to live there. I should not have worried, all the staff are good with all the service users who live there. I go any time of the day and it's never an issue. If I ever have any issues, any member of staff
are happy to help sort things. I would recommend this care home to anyone. My brother settled in really well with help of the staff who took time with him learning about his likes and dislikes. If ever anything happens like falls or hospital visits, I always get informed straight away. I feel he is very safe here and treated with respect.

From the initial telephone call regarding my family member being assessed to going over to Amberley, the service and staff have been amazing through a most difficult period for ourselves and our family, they have made us all feel like part of a family. Nothing is too much trouble. My family member who
is there at the minute has improved and is a lot happier after a most difficult time previously. Care homes and nursing homes get a lot of hassle and this one definitely has the positive from us. Amazing, thanks all.
