The staff were very helpful and caring. Very clean environment. The physio was excellent and managed to get my husband back on his feet after he had been in hospital. He is suffering from Parkinsons and all staff handled things very well. It was the first time he has been in a care facility and he realised that he wasn't fit enough to come home but the time he was in Wilfred Geere was a positive experience and we cannot recommend it too highly.

My dad broke his arm in 2 places and couldn't cope alone at home. He was sent to Laburnum Lodge to recuperate and get help with daily care. He also has vascular dementia. Immediately on arrival he was made to feel welcome and cared for. The staff have been wonderful throughout the month he has been there. They have been unfailing kind, courteous, helpful, understanding, professional and most importantly have always treated my dad with dignity so that even when he had to have help with showering he didn't feel upset or embarrassed. I think the staff do a wonderful job and wish they could realise the difference they make to residents and their families.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for their care of my Dad and would have no hesitation in sending Dad again when needed.
