Honesty couldn't have a better place for my mother in law to feel safe secure and happy with plenty activities on the go. The high level of care and attention given to each individual resident is very much apparent.

My dad was fortunate enough to spend his last few weeks here. He was very frail but was extremely well looked after. Excellent care home. I cannot fault it. Great facilities, lovely staff, couldn't do enough to help, great food, lovely room garden and views. I can't comment on the activities as he wasn't
strong enough to join in. He stayed in a few homes for respite care and none were a patch on the facilities or care given at Edenholme.

I am writing on behalf of my husband who has recently been in your care home for respite. I and my husband found all of the staff to be friendly and very helpful, they made him welcome, made sure he had a very comfortable seat in front of the telly, brought him in his paper every day as he can't get
around on his own. TV and his paper for crossword are very important to him, also a member of staff took him out in his wheelchair and told him about the history of the local town. My husband also enjoyed the food very much, especially the home baking. He asked me to book him another week in October as he enjoyed his stay so much. Thank you so much to all the staff for looking after my husband so well, you all deserve five stars, in my husband's words, he was treated like a lord.

My mother has now been a resident for a year and can honestly say, we, as a family are extremely happy with the care she is receiving.
She is always clean and dressed well, her hair is tidy on the days she has agreed to have it done. Being a dementia sufferer, 'not today' means 'not today'. There is
regular entertainment for residents and fun days where the family are made very welcome.
The home itself may not be of today's standards being built in the 70s, but it is warm with friendly staff and management.
