Review of Limecroft from S T (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 November 2024 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Mum has been lucky enough to be allowed to live at Limecroft since the early Summer of this year - following years of home care from her family. From the beginning she has been very happy, settled and incredibly well looked after. If you are searching for a residential home for a family member or perhaps for yourself - I would highly recommend Limecroft - for pleasant surroundings, meticulous care (emotionally and physically) for the residents and lastly - for the extra support given by the emotional support animals within the home.

Review of Limecroft from Maureen D (Wife of Resident) published on 13 March 2024 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My husband has been in Limecroft Residential Home since 31//10/23 and he is very well settled and the care he receives is brilliant. The facilities are wonderful, the bedrooms comfortable and the care of his clothes in the laundry better than I could do myself. The staff are all very cheerful and caring they really keep the residents' spirits up and there seems to be plenty of activities to keep them from being bored. Also, the food is very good and one of the chefs is a great baker as I have been given coffee and cake on many of my visits. Also on my husband's birthday, she baked him a lovely cake to rival some of the best bakeries and he was given a lovely gift from Limecroft and the staff made a big fuss of him. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for this type of facility for any of their loved ones.

Review of Whitdale Care Home from Gary W (Son of Resident) published on 29 November 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mother has been in Whitdale since July 2023, I can’t say enough about her experiences since she moved in. She loves the home, she is so happy, and the staff are amazing, this includes office staff and management who are all fantastic and professional, I work in the industry and can 100% recommend Whitdale to anyone thinking of putting a relative into care. My mum has got her mojo back since moving into Whitdale. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My father was in Whitdale Care Home for over two years, the staff and managers are so friendly and caring they can do enough for the residents. Weekly entertainment and trips out. The residents are well looked after.

Review of Burngrange Care Home from J D (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 8 March 2021 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Lack of communication to the family especially during covid-19. Pretty much no activities (prior to covid). No encouragement for residents to leave the room and socialise. Most carers were friendly and caring. A lot of agency staff.

Review of Limecroft from Barbara M (Daughter of Resident) published on 24 May 2016 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mother required emergency accommodation when her home was flooded. We were lucky to have two weeks' accommodation for her in Limecroft. I was so impressed by the welcome I received at such short notice. The lady in charge on the day my mother arrived, was delightful, explaining the facilities clearly whilst also dealing with another resident who wandered into the office. The staff were exemplary in their care of my mother; they were so kind! The facility itself is open and airy. Whilst my mum would never have participated in flower arranging, it was clear there were activities which one could enjoy. My mum's room was small but perfectly adequate. The plus was a great en suite wet room. Overall, I have no hesitation recommending this Council facility and I congratulate all of the staff for creating a home from home. Well done.
