Very impressed with the care that the staff have offered my family member, very caring and professional. There is plenty of communication between the carers and the family. All in all a very good professional care home.

I highly recommend Wilton House Care Home. The care home is outstanding and the staff are kind, compassionate, and truly committed to meeting each residents needs. It's clear the staff genuinely care about residents wellbeing. Communication with family is excellent with regular updates that provide real peace of mind. I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and support provided which create a warm welcoming environment.

Nipping clean.

My mum came here from hospital for end of life care. Absolutely exceptional in every way. Staff were all lovely, they looked after her (and me) extremely well. I visited a number of homes before she was placed here and none were as good as this. There was one (not Darlington based) I wouldn't have put a goldfish in it was so awful. I am pleased my mum got to spend her final days here. The building is very nice, a lot better than some so called purpose built sites, it has character and charm and is in a nice quiet location.

Peterlee Care Home is a nice place, the staff and management are good and very friendly to everyone. The care is very good and the food is nice.

The entertainment organiser and two cooks have done an outstanding job, going above and beyond for VE Day. From the decorating flags, hats, headbands and singing, followed by quiz engaging and stimulating the residents. An incredibly planned afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by all the residents. The dining room bringing everyone together like the street parties from ve day 80 years ago! Very patriotic and all interacting with each other sharing childhood memories! Very special day for all.

It's my experience that the standard of care is extremely good. The empathy and understanding shown by the staff towards those residents who can't put a meaningful sentence together, and are often unable to ask for, or even know that they need help in one form or another is first class.

I am extremely happy about the care my father receives. They keep me fully informed of his care plan, needs etc. The staff are attentive to all residents. The premises are kept to a high standard. I appreciate the difficult job staff do yet they make it look so easy. I am pleased to have been recommended that my father go there. Management made a full assessment of his needs.

Our sister is comfortable, content and very very well cared for, the staff at Peterlee Care Home are simply wonderful! Caring and compassionate and always go the extra mile for all of the residents.

Staff always treat residents and visitors with respect, they are always friendly and caring. As a family we are lucky to have our loved one in such a positive environment that is suitable for needs :-)
