This care home is heavily staffed with 5 senior cares and a manager.
Care home only has 23 residents however this care home has many issues of non compliant behaviors and puts residents at risk.
Given it is council run and over staffed they are on easy street and will attempt to cover up wrong doing
and intimidate residents guardians if they highlight wrong doing.
Lots of parts of this care home is well run however raise concerns where care home becomes liable or even worse get care commission in, some staff will turn on you and make life hell. bottom line this is a closed minded care home that suppresses wrong doing. Also some of the long term council staff will go on long term sick if pushed.

My Mum has been attending Oaklands Day Centre five days a week and I cannot praise the staff enough for their care and dedication that my mum receives when she is at Oaklands. Due to Covid 19, the day centre has been closed for 9 months. This is an amazing service and I hope the centre will open in
the near future. Thank you again to all the Care workers who dedicate their time to helping and stimulating my Mum and all the other clients who attend. Very much appreciated.

I cannot recommend Oakland enough - I think it is Dundee's best-kept secret. The care and professionalism of the staff is excellent. My mother loved her days there and always came home having thoroughly enjoyed her day - what more could you ask for.
