My mum, 89 and suffering from dementia, has been living in Corriewood Private Clinic since just before Christmas 2016.
The improvement in my mum's physical, mental and emotional state is amazing. She is much happier, more sociable and much less reliant on medication. She is kept very clean and always
looks her best. In her previous home, she was unhappy, stressed and kept sedated, remaining in her room, declining to join the others in the dining room and the lounge. Now she happily joins the other residents and has formed friendships with both staff and residents, she has been given a new lease of life.
The staff in Corriewood completely understand how to communicate and relate to people suffering from dementia. They are extremely caring and treat everyone as an individual. Together, the manager and the staff create a warm, family, atmosphere.
I cannot emphasise enough, how happy we are with the care and attention my mum receives in Corriewood. It is an outstanding Nursing Home.
