Making the decision for my mum to become a full time resident with Aster grove was one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make. I did not believe anyone could take care of her as well as I did. I was very wrong. The staff at Aster grove are exceptional and my mum although bed bound has improved
in many ways. When ever I visit she is smiley, stimulated, clean and very comfortable. Music can be heard from the corridors creating a relaxing and homely environment, the staff interact with her in the most natural and loveliest of ways. I have complete peace of mind that she is safe and cared for in the best possible way. Peace of mind is invaluable and I am extremely grateful for all the staff who care for my mum 24/7. I would and do recommend anyone struggling to make a decision about full time care for someone who has dementia to consider and visit this nursing home. A home from home family space to be.

Mum spent her last few months at Ashdown when her private funds ran out and another setting told us we needed to move her! Thankfully she was moved to Ashdown which is not as 'snazzy' but very homely, very clean, and the staff are lovely. When she passed away at the end of Jan 26, they were so caring
with me. It really helped a lot. So I want to say 'thankyou' for the lovely staff.

We've had and continue to have a very positive experience here. The staff have always been incredibly compassionate towards our family situation and its so reassuring to know how well our mum is being care for. The staff are incredibly friendly and I love how they celebrate the resident on their birthdays
etc, as well as get on so well as collegues too!

- Location is very conveyance by driving or traveling.
- First of all I found it most clean and very homely environment.
- Staff are so kind, polite and best is can speak different languages, which make a huge different to other than English residents.
- Rooms are well spacy, all departmental staff
are very willing to help, and admin. Food is amazing, timing is so well to. Seen some of the staff spend time according to residents pace, mean no rush at all. I really appreciate every single person, great effort to make resident daily living needs meeting so well.

My father in law has spent the last year at birchwood grove and all the staff have made my father in law and our family part of their family . They gave us peace of mind when making the hardest decision that he was so well cared for at all times .
Whenever we visited we always felt welcome and my
father in law was always clean , tidy and plenty of food cooked on site which meant his appetite returned . He also gained some of his mobility back with the help and care of lovely staff .

My mother is both mentally and physically incapable. The staff at the home are very good caring for her extremely well. When I visit she is always clean and fed.The staff always take enough time to talk to her when they are feeding or cleaning her. The whole building is spotless.

My mum recently moved into this lovely home although her stay was short before she sadly gained her wings but even in that short time she received the best care imaginable by the lovely staff and know this gave us comfort knowing she took her last breath in such a lovely environment!

The care our mum received at Aster Grove nursing home was outstanding.
Having had a bad experience at a previous home, the staff at Aster Grove were excellent.

My husband has been a resident at Birchwood Grove Care Home for three years. There is always a warm welcome and the home has a positive, friendly and family atmosphere. The longevity of staff is amazing; always the same familiar, reassuring, caring staff. The home is spotlessly clean, the care whether
medical, nursing or wellbeing is excellent. Good food is abundant and everyone enjoys the activities and frequent live entertainment.
I have a huge respect and gratitude for all the wonderful people who look after my husband in Birchwood Grove. He is extremely happy and well cared for.
